Max said that those who were good in their Carting times in the wet - drive also good in F1 cars in these bad weather conditions. Esteban and Pierre were the other 2 drivers who loved to race in the wet back then, and it showed .
The renault engine has been down by over 20bhp since the start of 2022. This race was not about engine power. Just shows how the rest of the Alpine car design is not too shabby
While that leapfrog from 9th to 6th was nice, I don't think Alpine will hold on to it. VCARB might do better im Vegas, so that alone will be enough for Alpine to drop back to 7th or 8th.
I prefer rain races, because it is more driver than car that determines the final result. Even a bad car can perform in the hands of a good driver. However, I don't like them red flags because they think it's raining too much.
Hay George. Great commentary and review of Alpine's Brazilian GP. Briatore has helped the Alpine team get on track maximizing their results on the track. Since Williams has taken a huge hit with crashes this year do you think they will sell off one of their drivers for 2025 for an infusion of money? Would Williams do a driver swap with Red Bull racing for that infusion of money? Would Williams swap for not Colapinto but Sainz? While Colapinto has big potential for me he is not better than Lawson at this point. I think Red Bull needs a solid Number 2 next to Max right now. Perez would give Williams a solid experienced driver for development with huge sponsorship this team needs. Perez drives well with a neutral to understeer car, not a Max biased oversteer car. Maybe the Red Bull / Williams talks are for a Sainz / Perez swap not buying Colapinto?
I don't think they will need to sell of a driver for money, F1 is profitable enough know that that isn't really a problem. If anything holds them back it will be the budget cap. There was talk at the weekend of Horner chatting to Vowels about Williams releasing Sainz so Red Bull could have him next season but there is 0 chance Williams would agree to that. As promising as Colapinto looks, he isn't going to be better than Sainz for a couple of seasons, assuming he ever becomes that good. For now, Colapinto is going to head back to F2 I think until Williams can get Albon out of the car. In my opinion anyway. Red Bull do need a new second driver but who that is I have no idea. Maybe they go for Lawson and then promote Hadjar to F1 but for now no one really knows
What are the chances they they will keep 6th though? Haas have been doing well lately. So chances are they will drop down to 7th. I actually feel sorry for the Sauba drivers. This was probably their best opportunity to finish top 10 and get points for the team. ANY points would be better than none at all.
Lets talk about the red flags. Teyy are gettng ridiculous. If a group of best drivers in the world cant keep themselves from crashing, race director shouldnt either. Whats the point of wet weather tyres if nobody uses them? Brazil GP proved that it is infact more dangerous to wave a red flag for rain than not to, meaning if pilots knew red flad was not coming then they would have pitted for full wets. Instead they stayed out on old inters thus creating more dangerous situation on track. If its wet DRIVE SLOWER!!! But these morons go flat out, crash and wait for race daddy to wave the red flag.

I'm happy fir them, but sorry for William's!

8:20 parts also take time. They will run on what they have available.

Kick Sauber can mathematically come 5th 😅
"All out war" indeed. Last weekend really knocked Williams' pecker in the dirt for the rest of the season. I wonder what Sainz thinks about all that.
This is what you get for underestimating the miracle worker that is Flavio Briatore!
😂😂😂😂😂

Drivers are not included in the cost cap. Drivers will not be dropped over this.

@@F1REVERSE I guess it will only happen if Sainz has that rumored exit clause for a top team.
Well. If they had done a better job at the start of the season they wouldn't be in that mess now.
What are the chances they they will keep 6th though?

Oh yeh, 0 chance they keep that position.
Those spots have only been decided on minor points. It’ll be a struggle to overtake a points haul like that.

That shit was hilarious. Alpine over here like yall work to hard. Let us just jump over yall in one race.
There was never even a discussion of Max pitting in that VSC or rain. It was strategy. He wanted in, they made him stay out.
False. There's audio of Max requesting to stay out
Listen to the radio man. Max never wanted to box.
@ I was watching his driver cam and radio the whole race bro 😂😂😂
@@teamvenom091 go watch him for the laps before the VSC and then come back 👍
