Medlars always remind me of the more fleshy rose hips: the Rosa Rugosa ones, but I have heard that they taste more like spiced apples or even toffee apples. I bet your jelly is delicious 😄
Oiiiiii I wanna pick them, too!! Here only my Le ciel blue roses have big rose hips. So I stop cutting them for petals. I have only 2 hips so far 😅 I tried to pollinate them with cotton bud. Hope I’ll get more!
I really hope you get more soon too. Did you ever try Nyponsoppa (rose hip soup) when you lived in Sweden? I always loved it!! Such a sweet-sour flavour.
It looks lovely. I think everyone loves jelly.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much 😊 It was very good on our Sunday brunch waffles 😁😁
Your magnanimity and grace have touched me beyond words!
@@IshaPublicSchool aw...thank you. Have a happy, blessed Sunday🙂
This looks delicious Dani! You explained the process very well!
Thanks so much! It was so fun to make this and very yummy to have on our Sunday waffles😁

Yes I tasted them, picked in garden, dried and grounded. Just lovely ❤❤❤ I pray I’ll have a lot here from the Le ciel blue roses. We will see!! 🙏🙏
