Great review. Not to worried about price. RF mount is the future and should be easy to sell with not too much depreciation. EF lenses are much harder to sell now for a good price.

I bought this lens for my Canon R6 Mark II. I have watched over a dozen reviews on this lens and not even one of the reviews explains how to actually use the control ring closest to the base of the lens. Everyone just skips over the control ring. Can someone please explain how to format the lens to the camera and how to actually use the control ring. Thank you in advance.

The filter size in the EF version of the 70-200mm is 77mm, not 82mm. That’s going to be my first mirrorless lens!

I don't see why the RF-lenses have to be so expensive. I'll stick with my canon ef 70-200 mm f2.8 IS II which still works fine on my new R6.

Huh? “Latest telephoto Zoom lens”. Not true. The RF 70-200/4 came out much later than the f/2.8 version.
