Thank you everyone for coming through.. I really appreciate each and everyone of you! This show house is situated in Olukonda, Onakambale Lodge - Ondangwa in the north .. If you are in Namibia you can visit it too.. The room bases are made from cement /clay. This is also to display how our ancestors lived organically. Nowadays with the scarcity of wood /trees many have to improvise and switch to a mixture of traditional and modern structures 👌❤️
This is really organic, look at the bed, nowadays traditional houses are rare. I really love this, the next generation can have the opportunity to see how a traditional village house looks like. Amazing Job, keep it up love ❤
I love the way how Namibians traditional houses are beautiful it’s unique and beautiful and I love their traditional wedding I think they call them oshiwango correct me dear if am wrong
Hello dear Harriet.. Yes they arr so unique indeed 😍💐 The weddings are called "ohango" and "Oshiwambo" is one of the languages spoken in Namibia, it is also the tribe which builds such homesteads 😊😍
This is a beautiful home stead we grew up knowing. Thank you for sharing such an amazing content that brought up old memories. Thank you so much 💃❤️❤️❤️
This is top notch. So many compartments. Assert protection for sure🤣🤣🤣. The oshiwambo homesteaf is very similar to the Kavango(Kwangali homestead) I grew up in a homestead similar to this just a few differences. This is reminding me of my childhood.
Ikr.. I was in awe of everything.. It really reminds me of my childhood too 😂 Nowadays with less tress available, our people have no choice but to mix the building materials with zinc, plastic and many others to build structures. That's interesting to know that these buildings are similar to the kwangali.. Apart from being in one country, we are all just ONE people and the way we do things always merge somewhere.. Haha. Thanks for watching my lady ❤️😍
Hello Hafeni..am not so sure about that but you can surely visit the place in Olukonda maybe they will be able to grant it to you :) Their page is on instagram with contact numbers : handle is in the video description
