I am not a Namibian, but I am wishing to visit there one day. I am from Liberia, just in case you were wondering. Peace, love, and unity Africa. 💪💪💪💪💪🙏🙏
I was recently in Namibia for my friend's wedding which was in the North (0nayena Village i think) I forgot the groom's village.I had such great experience but the HEAT!!! Iyho. Then we camped at Sossusvlei and Spitzkoppe.Oh we also did spend a day in Etosha park.Enjoyed every bit of my stay and we plan to return as there's still so much to discover in your beautiful country.PS:please tell Mr President to bring the airport closer to Windhoek.shuuu!!
I just realized how much I’ve gotten used to European/Western living. This is a great depiction of our culture and heritage and we should ensure that we pass it on to our children. It is important to instill traditions at a young age because just as you have shown, you never forget how to balance a water container, pound and sieve mahangu. Well done 🎉
I got nostalgic watching this..this is what I grew up doing and when I tell people that I miss my village life, this is exactly what I miss doing. Thank you for putting this out here ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I currently live in Amsterdam but I truely love your videos for showing the part of Africa many of our kids born in Europe will never experience. They remind me growing up in Africa.
This reminds me of the bible in such a deep way. Amazing! We make porridge like this too in the Caribbean. Porridge is our breakfast. But we eat it at anytime if pleased.
Thankyou for sharing your life....it's so hard to find these kind of positive stories about Africa here in the West. You are clever, resourceful and deserve all the peace and happiness. I'd like to visit one day, not playing spoilt tourist, but live simple and meet local (real) ppl. These are the true riches of life.
I can't believe there are still areas that used water from those. But hands up. Northerners are hardworking people. Literally everything they use or eat they have worked for it.
Hi! Im absolutely in love with your content. A friend recommended your channel to me an hour ago! Amazing content. 👌🏾your videos are absolutely amazing! ❤️sending love from South Africa 🇿🇦
My sister you are bringing back my memories, my grandmother, from my mum side, was from mumuila tribe in Namibia ,I'm from south of Angola 🇦🇴 and I used to get water from the kassimba, as we used to call it, but I don't speak the dialects, I can only speak Portuguese, do you speak Portuguese sister? Sister I'm so proud of you, your video, brought tears of joy, I live in the UK for more than 20 years, I really wanna go back. I miss the care free spirit, I used to live before the war started, You and the kids are amazing. I love you sis.
This vid has every piece of Vambo culture u can find there. From boreholes to collecting wood, to traffic in the north (cattle, Lol!), pounding mahangu, oshikundu shakaka, u mention it all. Great content, proper voice and accurate explanations, good quality. Well done.
I loved this video so much. I paused the tv to get up for a glass of water and it stopped at 37 mins i was like “nooooooo 😭😭 its almost finished”. Thats how good it was. We appreciate the content Woven, keep it up🙌🏽

I will visit on Sabbath day ne. Awesome video. Absolutely loved it. ❤️We need Oshiwambo wedding one next please. Even a funeral one too 😂
Great Video, muholike. Thank you for reminding us about where we come from. Thank you for reminding the government that a lot of work still needs to be done and mentioning that people are dying because of this. Thank you for showing us your family, your cousins are lovely and your humor throughout the video is refreshing. For explaining that these chores aren’t actually child labour, that the kids are well fed and clothed and choose to be the way they are. You are right about the misconceptions. We love the content and the descriptions you gave us. The authenticity and the honesty. There are a lot of oshiwambo terms you couldn’t translate to English but honestly sis, same. By far the best channel!!! Kundilapo Natalia😂♥️♥️
