"Groundnut oil" is a term used in Nigeria to mean not just oil from peanuts but any vegetable/plant-sourced oil as well as any colourless oil regardless of the source. Such usage doesn't make sense but it's as a result of the subconscious demarcation of oils into 2: palm oil which is red, and colourless oils.
For how long was the whale dead? What killed it? God continue to save us all from an outbreak of disease.
I doubt any bacteria or disease could survive the boiling/roasting/frying temperature of African cooking practice.
