The piano intro by the amazing Miyako was Rachmaninoff..specifically Moments Musicaux Op No.4..thanks for another great reaction to the Queens of Metal..Lovebites..
I would like to suggest a song called Burden of Time, it was performed in a live studio recording during covid, The band played their full first LP on the 3rd anniversary of its release, It features more group backing vocals and another surprise that I think you guys will love to discover. ua-cam.com/video/4OBf_Gn8efs/v-deo.html
I really love how Miyako & Miho sound on the backing vocals, it's just enough to really pull you into the backing vocals but not too much to override Asami's beautiful voice. Just a few days ago, I watched Asami's Christmas live show, where she was singing amazing classic R&B songs with a group of friends, it was an incredible show, She sang songs from Chicago, Earth wind & Fire, Aretha Franklin and many others. It has become a yearly show, but it was the first time I had watched it, she was spectacular.
One of their best efforts, piano, Asami's vocals, gang/backup vocals, wicked guitars and Haruna's master class on that kit. This is 2019 and they have only gotten better, MUCH better especially LIVE since this stage performance. Miyako demonstrates why her bandmates call her the Golden Touch as everything she does is just special!!!!
Love this song. What especially stunned me the first time I heard it was the background vocals, specifically when Miho first came in (her voice is really strong and really good), and then the high parts over there are Miyako, which also surprised me. So good. Asami's lyrics and vocals in this one are fantastic. A lot of emotion and I like how it is written. It makes me wish that they would do vocal harmonies a little more often, though of course now they don't have Miho, who I think, at least in this case, balanced Miyako perfectly.
My pick for the best song to use to introduce newbies to Lovebites. A lot of the thrash songs are a bit much for people not used to metal. This is metal but melodic and accessible. Thanks for checking it out.
LOVEBITES - Empty Daydream lyrics & credits: Memories I can’t erase still haunting me Silently you stare with cold, empty eyes Falling down Breaking heart A growing addiction Just let me go away Just let me go my way Just let me go, I won’t become a doll you control I’m losing sight of me I’m losing sight of you I’m losing sanity and I don’t know how I will go on Nothing new, pretending not to know the truth Rendezvous, without emotion or heart I won’t show how weak and sad I am inside Even though I know it’s just silly pride Empty room Endless rain The end of a daydream You never call my name You never feel the same You never make me feel like I deserve any love I’m waiting for the dawn I’m waiting for the time I’m waiting for my bleeding heart to heal, so I can go on SOLO: miyako / midori / miyako / both Memories I can’t erase still haunting me Silently you stare with cold, empty eyes Falling down Breaking heart A growing addiction Empty room Endless rain The end of a daydream Just let me go away Just let me go my way Just let me go, I won’t become a doll you control I’m losing sight of me I’m losing sight of you I’m losing sanity and I don’t know how I will… You never call my name You never feel the same You never make me feel like I deserve any love I’m waiting for the dawn I’m waiting for the time I’m waiting for my bleeding heart to heal, so I can go on ----- lyrics: asami music: miyako arrangement: miyako & LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami) album: Clockwork Immortality 12/05/2018 ---
backing vocals are a fairly rare thing with LOVEBITES. they do the gang vocals once in a while like in 'hammer of wrath' and 'raise some hell' but i wish they would do more like in this song. the only other one that comes to mind is mentioned below with the link from richzee777. another to add to your list as 'burden of time ' is yet another killer track.
Thanks for the reaction. I can suggest you to check another song by LOVEBITES with beautiful backing vocals. 'Burden of Time'. I suggest to check the live version (2018) of this song. In my opinion, in the 2018 video, the camera shows better how during the solo, Miyako plays the keyboard with her right hand & simultaneously plays chords on the guitar with her left hand & there is harmonization with Midori's guitar. If you wish, you can find this video on my channel. This is not an attempt to advertise my channel.🚫 I do not pursue such goals. 😊The thing is that the video of 'Burden of Time' 2018 is difficult to find on YT, because the concert DVD/Blu-ray 'Battle in the East' (2018) was released in a limited edition.🤗 LOVEBITES - 'Burden of Time' (Live in 'Tsutaya O-East', Tokyo, June 28, 2018)
Another one of Lovebites' songs that I just love....thanks for your continued support of this awesome band!! Just want to mention how much I appreciate how you present your videos with yourselves shown smaller and the 'stars' of the video on full display, waiting to comment until the end of the video, and always making sure your sound quality is tops! Keep up the good work!🤘
That piano opening is from Russian composer Sergei Rachmaninov (I don't remember the name of the piece). BTW, Midori, Miho, and Miyako were all singing the first line of the Choruss, but in the 2nd line Miyako sings the _High Harmonies_ with Asami. Just another amazing aspect of Mi-Ya's amazing talents . . that she can sing high harmonies with *_Asami_* . It sometimes seems her talent is Bottomless.
Great E song, backing vocals, and catchy riff. And you always get a brilliant, yet subtle key change. That beginning was completely improvised by Miyako / Asami which was so creative! 🤘 Need to do the Trilogy next;: The Apocalypse, Under the Red sky, and Above The Black Sea. 1st 2 are about the WWII bombings and last about Kamikaze pilots during WWII.
Just goes to show that they versatile and can successfully write and perform a range of styles. Have you done Signs of Deliverance ua-cam.com/video/ZFNrk19fKgg/v-deo.html yet?🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

Miyako's beautiful and haunting piano intro is from Romantic-era composer Sergei Rachmaninoff's "Moment Musicaux Op. 16 No. 4 in E Minor".
We appreciate that info.

Rhythm section with a cool nod to Phantom of the Opera. Beautiful piano, glorious vocals. Such a cool song

Miyako must have some memory played that piano with no score sheet and that left hand of hers is something else.
And her left leg isn,t bad either.......

LOVEBITES - Empty Daydream lyrics & credits:
Memories I can’t erase still haunting me
Silently you stare with cold, empty eyes
Falling down
Breaking heart
A growing addiction
Just let me go away
Just let me go my way
Just let me go, I won’t become a doll you control
I’m losing sight of me
I’m losing sight of you
I’m losing sanity and I don’t know how I will go on
Nothing new, pretending not to know the truth
Rendezvous, without emotion or heart
I won’t show how weak and sad I am inside
Even though I know it’s just silly pride
Empty room
Endless rain
The end of a daydream
You never call my name
You never feel the same
You never make me feel like I deserve any love
I’m waiting for the dawn
I’m waiting for the time
I’m waiting for my bleeding heart to heal,
so I can go on
SOLO: miyako / midori / miyako / both
Memories I can’t erase still haunting me
Silently you stare with cold, empty eyes
Falling down
Breaking heart
A growing addiction
Empty room
Endless rain
The end of a daydream
Just let me go away
Just let me go my way
Just let me go, I won’t become a doll you control
I’m losing sight of me
I’m losing sight of you
I’m losing sanity and I don’t know how I will…
You never call my name
You never feel the same
You never make me feel like I deserve any love
I’m waiting for the dawn
I’m waiting for the time
I’m waiting for my bleeding heart to heal,
so I can go on

Love this performance! It's a treat every time Miyako puts in her classical piano excerpts, as they are not on the studio albums.
The different tempo in this song were so good. Yes, brilliant composed. 👍🤘

Awesome! Every time this song plays i always get the chills, beautiful start and especially that solo section is just incredible!! Cheers guys! 🤘🔥

Backing vocals were only done by Miyako and Miho, (call and response) The harmonizing vocals with Asami are done by Miyako, she has soprano range. 🤘
I love that riff!!! Miyako really likes EVH or is it Michael, It does not matter who's wrong or right, so just....Go your own way...
Great E song, backing vocals, and catchy riff. And you always get a brilliant, yet subtle key change. That beginning was completely improvised by Miyako / Asami which was so creative! 🤘

Sorry..but the piano intro was composer Rachmaninoff..just sayin..
@@L.A55Yup, just mentioning it's not part of the studio track. All good.
The last of their "E" trilogy songs. Wonder if you caught the guitar riff in the song. Hint: Michael Jackson 🤔😉
that riff also on Reo Speedwagon's song Back On The Road Again (1979)
@@endosuleiman2335 It's tied to MJ because of Jennifer Batten being one of Miyako's guitar influences.
To be honest the riff for " Beat it" was composed by Eddie Van Halen, and I prefer Orianthi do it than Jenniffer Batten 😂😂
🐺🐺🐺🤘🤘🤘
