I think major reason why red line has not received patronage like blue line is non connectivity to Marina because most people going to Lagos Island don't see reason to go by red line because it will not take them to Lagos Island
What you said about them sending people back is true. I used the bridge to connect to the train station and was going towards the exit to locate computer village when one of the security men said I shouldn't do that again because his boss would complain. I was confused co why build a bridge that would connect to the station and the computer villagif you do not want people to use it.
@emmanuelogundipe3328 I complained to the management they made me understand they're controlling theft within the premise construction is still going within when everything is done and completed it will be different They'll want the station to not just be a train station but a business hub That's how the station are structured Just they lack good communication though
Let me also add that apart from linking the red line to the National Theatre, once the Agbado station of the red line is completed and the NRC increase their trip on the Lagos to Ibadan and sebsequently to Kano, it would greatly oncrease the trafic on the red line.
Nice but I think the blue still has more passengers compared to the red line. Despite the fact that it's not even the full phase of the blue line that is functioning
Big empty stations Why do they continue to build massive stations It’s literally meant to be the ticket area and the platform, as well as a few shops here and there These sizes are a waste of money
D red line train pattern is not nice, too tight for metro train. Tiny door entrance, tiny walk way even expensive unlike the blue line d door widely open. Entrance to most stations is not nice at all. Bad/tight roads.
I think this is the Talgo trains. Except my mind's playing tricks on me, i remember when Sanwo-Olu visited the U.S to view them - same interior & exterior
Why do you guys want people to stand on the train? The number of people seen on this video is good enough. We dont need service that will jam-packed people like sandwich.

exactly.. imagine if the blue line stop and national theatre, nobody will patronize it
Igbos most business men are not on that rout.
@@uchejoseph6829 are you sure?... i thought u guys own 70% of lagos, am pretty sure that there are lot of igbo on that route..
@@uchejoseph6829what do Igbos have to do with this 💀

Thanks for the update. Good job.
@abiolakusimo8621 thank you 😊
Nice Work🎉
@TypeCEdits3342 thank you 😊
Red line is more expensive than the blue line that why it has has low patronage.
Lagos state is making a magnificient progress
@@ogueriviews honestly brother
Good to see you bro. Welldone
@azeezotun5952 thank you so much 💓

Personally, I feel it’s too early to evaluate ridership. 6 months will be more appropriate
True, cause I remember it feeling a bit similar when the blue line started
Although the blue line seemed to have picked up quicker
@@RandomMZ1412 yeah valid point 👏

@princepelu2886 very true
Nice but I think the blue still has more passengers compared to the red line. Despite the fact that it's not even the full phase of the blue line that is functioning
This price is too much.
They are aware.
Price is pissing people off
lot of complain on the price let's hope LAMATA will look into it
Hey Ozed, what's the update on linking red line from Oyingbo to National theatre. I believe the linkage will improve the traffic on that axis.
@princepelu2886 currently nothing much ongoing hopefully the first quarter of next year work will commence full-time
What are the time table of train services for weekends (Saturdays/Sundays)? I could not see saturday trips on the time table the last time i checked.
for now they run from Monday to Friday
Big empty stations
Why do they continue to build massive stations
It’s literally meant to be the ticket area and the platform, as well as a few shops here and there
These sizes are a waste of money
invalid point one day hopefully I'll get an opportunity to talk to government official in charge of this projects I'll definitely ask this question
@ Yh please do, money wasted on size could have been used on a better architectural design

@@oluwaseyisubair4426 well said sir
Train is built for interstate
It will increase why are you in rush
I think it's too early for evaluation ahhh Nigerians lol
... least 3 to 6 months at least 😅
Almost all the videos I've seen recently show the GWR trains. What has happened to the TALGO trains?.
I think this is the Talgo trains. Except my mind's playing tricks on me, i remember when Sanwo-Olu visited the U.S to view them - same interior & exterior
It's a combination.The main body and coaches are of the Talgo
While the head powering the train is changed out
Actually there are four trains. Two talgo and two GWR... These are GWR the talgo has one thick redline
@@emmanuelogundipe3328 I doubt the talgo will run
This is not the Talgo train please. The one in this video is the London GWR. The Talgo will be on track once the Red Line kicks off finally
Why do you guys want people to stand on the train? The number of people seen on this video is good enough. We dont need service that will jam-packed people like sandwich.
But sincerely that is the best
It shows good patronage
But the numbers are definitely increasing
Lol people stand in trains all over the world
