thank you for this video, I figured this would be the way to do it. now seeing this video I can take all my hats that I have and make my own. I purchased 2 online but they are just plain colored and I have some that are my fav's and I would like to wear more often with my pony's.
That's great! I love the fact that you can do this to basically any hat. It also seems very intuitive, but at least the video helped to assure you're doing it right.
Just saw a cap like that online and was like... dang... I need that for Camp on Sunday... but even Amazon isn't that fast. so I googled it and saw your video 😁 you saved my day. Thanks for sharing your cap-hack😊 I for sure have a cap laying around somewhere that I can try this on 😂
I believe you could make it work with a flexfit hat. Just be mindful when separating the back seam to keep about an 1.5 - 2 inch together so as not to completely disconnect the base of the hat.
In the age of the internet it's hard to come across an idea that's 100% original - i did not research to see if this tutorial was done previously by someone else. I do not know who Shannon Estelle is, but my intent was not to copy her. I'm sure there are many tutorials on this.
I mean...she said where she got the idea right at the top of the video. There are thousands of videos that are similar to others. It doesn't mean they are all copied. It just means you have lots of different methods to choose from.
Oh yay!!! I have been wearing baseball caps almost every day I wish I could wear a high ponytail with it! I’ll try this! Thank you!!
Let me know how it goes!

Will this work with a flexfit hat?

This video sucked anyway. Shannon's is way better!
