Great info, thanks Tony! I love the idea of bringing variety into people's exercise programs. Do you have any videos on circuit training and/or HIIT training, especially for older adults?
Thanks Tony. I’m 6 weeks today after tkr and everything’s going great apart from a clunking click when walking. Your vids have been a huge help both before surgery and in my recovery program. I had the surgery done private through the NHS here in the UK (free) and usually there’s a follow up at 6 weeks with the surgeon but, with all that’s going on, I haven’t heard anything. Any info or advice on the clicking? It’s mildly annoying and uncomfortable but not painful. Cheers.
How many days Post-op would this be good for the cautious start you describe? I’m going through your videos and getting great information for handling my recovery post-tkr in two weeks. And I already have an Arc. Thanks Tony.
Informative video. Can u share more info on how to lose weight in the gym after 3 yrs of tkr. My wife had a tkr after a accident. She's appx 75kg but eats in calorie deficit. Age 41
Great question. I try not to focus on weight loss too much because there really is no single effective strategy that is right for everyone. A program has to be specific to you and your current lifestyle. I recently shared this video explaining the many facets of weight gain and how it may not be at all related to calories in calories out - ua-cam.com/video/s_TV1i20qy0/v-deo.html
What would you recommend or type of therapy for getting up from a chair or commode with out holding on to something to get up. I really appreciate your help and videos thank you
This is a great question. Part 1 is getting comfortable standing from a seat lower than the commode. We do this in the clinic using bands to assist. Then the second part is getting comfortable leaning forward and getting your nose over (past) your toes. I will try to upload a video for this tomorrow.

@@totaltherapysolutions I was using a large rubber ball against the wall and doing squats and it seems to work pretty good what do you think. I do have yoga bands and the regular bands. But the ball seems to work well.
You are in ERROR- the left leg going up, with the forward movement of the left arm in not NATURAL try walking or running like this ! - Cross Crawl is natural , Left leg up and forward with Right arm forward this UNI crawl , is not NATURAL or smart ! do you concur ?

No, but if you do I would love to share it.
This trainer is far superior to any equipment I’ve ever used. It doesn’t disappoint.
I have an OrbitTrek, what do you think?
Thanks 💜 I really needed this. I will be trying it immediately.
These trainers are great for clinic use and general exercise. Thank for sharing Tony!

Overall, good info
The machine cd be made to go in reverse too
Eg walking and running backwards helps knees and hams and ankles, if only 2-3 min
Is a health walker machine good to use?

Is it required to simulate natural walking
or exercise muscles without straining the knees and joints?
