Each line has its own separate route. There are mutual crossing stations. For example, getting off at the Sadat station will allow you to transition from line 2 to line 1 and vice versa. As in the timing of routes, they do have a time schedule. There’s usually a train passing by approximately every 7 minutes. You can go to the metro at anytime and you’ll be on a train in no time.
