The first time I played this game it was with my mom. She is not an aggressive player and normally I introduce her to games. Things ended up that I was completely shut out and did not score a single point! The next game I played later on was with my mom and sister, who first got the game. I took my lessons to heart and viciously denied big points for them both, winning handily. They were not happy about that! They definitely prefer to play the same way that Shira does, whereas I clearly figured I needed to play the way that Jesse does. We haven't played it since, but I was promised due retribution.
I also have to say that my sister bought the foil card version of this game? Should be avoided at all costs, the reflective cards make identification very difficult at times!
Maybe I'm the only one who makes this connection but Arboretum to me feels like a grown up version of the classic game Rack-O. It's the same basic decision and goal but multiplied out. Rack-O was a staple of my youth (and one of the few classic type games I don't resent to this day) which we still pull it out occasionally, so that's a positive comparison to me.
Meeting the grandparents, darn😜 you show him girl 😁
I love this lesser known gem of the gaming world. It gets so tight and agonizing so quickly!
It’s very good :)
Ah I see you have the universally acclaimed better version of Arboretum. Good choice.
No way xD

Shira… the real reason why quackalope and Boardgameco subscribers have increased.
Exactly!
Is The Weekly Quack coming back??
13:08 I would still buy the pizza anyway XD
Just found the “green box” version in German (do not speak German) 😂, but pretty happy 😊
I have been trying for a year, the old art is super fly lol
