This actually worked for me, trying it the 2nd time around though. The 1st time was the wrong dosage. I drank a bottle of Vodka a day for 11 years. It took away my cravings and my ocd thoughts about alcohol. If you are thinking about trying it, you definitely should.
I am trying it for the second time as well. Congrats! For me, it's strange - it feels like I just ate a big meal, even thought I didn't. The craving is not there anymore. I even try to drink some wine, but I can't finish it. I'm not complaining though! I definitely needed something like this in my life.
Drank a bottle of whiskey daily for 2.5 years. Couldn't go 1 day with out drinking. After 2 weeks I was able to go weeks at a time without booze. It has been 4 months without alcohol now. If you are actually addicted to alcohol, take this.
pills or the injection? hows it going lately. im nervous about starting because of the side effects, especially anxiety and insomnia.. which I suffer from both already
@@flipnap2112 Pills. 50Mg daily. I haven't noticed any side effects like that on my end, but of course each person is different. I sleep better actually. Alcohol stopped me from sleeping well/deeply imo. I haven't had a drink since 12/24/2023. So 5 almost 6 months clean now.
I tried it for about a month, took it first thing in the morning so even if I did drunk, the alcohol wouldn’t get me drunk so I wouldn’t feel the need to drink during the day so to speak, now I’m gonna start taking it again tmrw
@@Centerpointless did you have any bad side effects? especially about the anxiety and nausea. I know everyone's different but curious. and do you drink hard or beer? thanks
I drank hard stuff mainly like Jim bean and Bacardi, I had problems in the 🛏 a little bit and felt a mix of fogginess and anxiety. I just took my first tablet in months I’ll let u know how I feel!! It defiently does help you stay away from alcohol at least for me it did.
Imma trying it , really want to stop or slow down my drinking habit
Good luck!
90% of people with alcohol use disorder are not diagnosed simply because they chose to ignore the problem. Back to our society having an EGO issue.
It works!!! I started taking it only 1 month ago. I stopped drinking after 2 weeks in.
I get the Vivitrol shot from my doctor. Vivitrol is a once per month "extended release injectable suspension" version of the oral pill. I highly recommend it! I used to binge routinely. This shot has killed that habit. ❤❤❤
Have you lost weight?
@Pawwinas Yes, but my overall diet needs improvement to drop more weight.
How are you now?
How much is the shot?
I used because I was binging nearly every day for 2 years
How is your journey going?!!
@@britanydominguez2409 good mate, I’m really enjoying my sobriety. I’m 1 year plus sober I stopped counting. The naltrexone stuff works. I got it without prescription
@@Momanny247how did you get it without subscription?
@@kepler16b85you buy it online. That’s what I did. It works incredibly well
Im an alcoholic I'm going try first day
That's awesome
This shit WORKS. 😊😮
I hope this will work to reduce food addiction as well..
Hiya. What happens if I stop taking naltrexone and drinking moderately after 6 months? Does the craving go away forever, or do I just go back as before?
what if someone has years of sobriety? will this help prevent a relapse when drinking?
I use Naltrexone for severe all over body itching. I’ve had to use it for many years. That’s strange to me that it’s used too, for binge drinking. I don’t drink alcohol. I never acquired a taste for alcohol. Not even beer.
What dose where u taking for the itching?
Hi Ms Truthseeker9. I take 25 mgs. 3x a day.
I used it and stopped after 1st pill
what about if you just drink like 2-3 drinks per night tho
Yeah, I've been a heavy drinker for my whole adult life-- never drunk and not alcohol dependent, but daily drinking. I used it to cut back. Now I've decided to quit altogether and alcohol doesn't really appeal to me now.
I need to stop drinking. Did this work for you guys?
YES!!
It helps with the fantasizing and thinking about booze.
Don’t take it if you have opioids in your system! I found out the hard way and became very very sick (but I didn’t drink! Ha ha)
naltrexone and vivitrol work!!
کار میده خوبم کار میده
Drugs are bad mkay
I hear u!
It's so funny, it's nothing more than a vivid patrol shot. And it only works for a small percentage of people.
I hate when news people get paid to promote stuff like this, that's not true.
The sinclair method is an oral pill with an 80% success rate. Da fuq are you talking about.
Taking prescription drugs to stop drinking is probably worse than just the drinking. Love how GMA is promoting big pharma
People really need help. It’s not easy for everyone to just just quit
It's definitely not worse than drinking the amount of alcohol some people do! And it works!
Sinclair method is legit.
Black and white thinking fallacy.
there is a great Ted Talk on this. it makes many valid points
