One of my favorite things ever was working night shift of the Izzy Strickland card with my buddy who’s a huge Izzy Glazer and hear him go on about how Izzy is going to destroy him, as the fights going on and I’m looking at the results and keeping it to myself. He showed up the next night looking like someone shot his dog in front if him 😂
One of my bros at school huge Izzy glazer who would never shut up ever since he koed alex. Spent like a week saying how Izzy would do him worse than Costa bro looked shell shocked the next day.

Most annoying are the Anti-Muslim fanbase which are mainly the western White MMA fan base. They akways hated Muslim fighters.
I have never met a anti-muslim fighter, but the ones that exist have very boring fighting style. Zabit was very exciting and recent Islam too and i dont even know if Rachmanov is muslim

Horrible standup is pushing it, with or without takedown threat he stood with Connor and Justin without shooting for minutes at a time and wasn’t getting starched (like round 1 vs Justin only shot once still landed more head and body strikes that round) but ye he wasn’t elite or anything he was slightly above average good enough 6.5/10 I’d say horrible standup is like Ben askren he couldn’t hurt a flyweight if they let him

If you notice , the annoying fans are usually either band wagons ( only are fans of hype trains ) , or the follow the fighters due to having a similar background and or religion

Idk from my experience, Izzy’s fan base has been actually calm for the past year and a half at least. Id honestly say when it comes to Izzy, he’s one of the rare cases in which his haters are some how more annoying than his fans. Only thing more annoying is grappling haters ( people who hate on grapplers )

How did Izzy loose to Robert in the 2nd fight if he outstruck him total strikes being 98 landed to Robert’s 74 landed not to mention Izzy knocked him down only thing Whittaker has on him is takedowns and control time
Because its scored round by round robert won 3. Even if Izzy clearly won 2 and robert barely won 3 he still wins the fight

Alex beats Ankalaev easier than Jiri. I am a Jiri glazer but for good reason. Ankalaev said he wants to stand and bang with Alex and not grapple. Also Ankalaev rarely grapples except he‘s forced and then he got subbed by Paul Craig.
His fight vs Craig was his debut 6 years ago and he dominated Jan with his grappling and Jan gave Izzy his closest fight by grappling him
I somewhat agree, but just think Jiri is better than Ank on the feet, because of his iron chin and unorthodox standup. He brutalized every opponent, especially Reyes and he submitted GLOVER.

bro I am Khabib and Dagestani fighter's fan but I am not like those fans, yes he is ONE OF THE G.O.A.T. IN LIGHTWEIGHT but I never say he can take fighters like from other divisions, he is a humble fighter and gives respect where is due but some casuals who only know him from Conor vs Khabib edits say stuff like that, I like their personality their dominant wrestling and ability to put constant pressure on their opponent. And I don't follow hype trains (or those fighters who are heavily marketed by UFC like bo and omally).
And if i had to choose a fighter between Jon and Khabib i would pick khabib over Jon anytime i don't support you when you take ped (Docter's prescription positive is another case) regularly popping for ped then fcuk off.

I hate being a Khabib fan because of the fans bro. I like Khabib because he is a great person but a badass warrior but the fanbase is just full of cringey dumb children who only look at his record but not the resume. However with that being said i think Khabib is overHATED aswell because some people say he's not even top 15 or top 10 which is just crazy.
I think 2016 Conor woulda made a lot better on the ground with Khabib in 2018. Remember the Chad mendez fight a natural wrestler and Conor survived that first round of pure ground fight with him and proceed to ko him cause he run outta gas too. In the khabib fight we could also see that Khabib was gassing out on the four round. its all speculation of course, but I think it woulda reach to judges decision.
