👏👏 Wow. Now that was fantastic video that The Story of Mansa Musa The Richest Man Who Ever Lived. The Emperor of Mali. No wonder he was totally rich gold and power of Empire.
His is an enormous cautionary tale. Because he gave away so much wealth (primarily gold), he crashed the economy of everywhere he went. If everyone has gold, then its value drops. So the price of bread (for instance) undergoes giant inflationary pressures. He never meant to cause harm, but it in fact did great harm. Instead of giving away his wealth, he should’ve used it to build something lasting. Billionaires of today need to be careful how they distribute their wealth (if they ever do 🙄), because done the wrong way, it could cause more harm than good
I first heard about this legend in an Epic Rap Battle of History.
The guy that plays him, ScruFace Jon, also did a rap about Mansa Musa and its also pretty amazing.
Ita crazy that they don't teach history classes about people like this in US schools.
They focus mainly on American history but I do believe I heard ab mansa musa at school
I first learned about him in middle school here in the US.
Before Scrooge McDuck, Richie Rich, Bruce Wayne,Mr Burns and Tony Stark there was Mansa Musa
Yeah but Mansa Musa was a real person. :P
@@stevengreen9536so is Bruce Wayne(he's literally me)
@@TheVoid_2.0 Again FICTIONAL character.
@@stevengreen9536and really white like the prophet Muhammad he wasn’t Arab or black
@robertpatterson9943 Well first off white and black are colors. It would be better to say he was not afrikan. Secondly he could not be European. Until the rise of the slav trade. Their were no Europeans living in that region.
THIS IS EVEN BETTER

He created a big economic crisis in the middle east. People ended up with tons of golden coins but no silver coins to balance the cash flow. It was like people having hundred dollars bills only and buying stuff became impossible. A very smart man in France called Jack Coeur who had monopoly over the early birth of fashion/à la façon used the king signature to sneak silver from France to Egypt and Levant in exchange of 10 to 15 times its weight for gold which gave France it's added value to fashion and clothing which lasted till this day he was also forced by the french king to finance the war to regain Normandy from the English. It is fascinating how an event in the middle of the desert can affect 2 different continents (Asia and Europe) and human history.
Cool story bro
Man I want a movie of this great legend
But what about King Solomon? I’m pretty sure he’d be wealthier considering he ruled around the time of the peak of Jerusalem’s prosperity. Not to mention he had 1000 wives, many of whom would have likely been royalty. To live the life he’d lived, he would have to have been the wealthiest man in human history.
Have a grate day and a spooktacular Halloween 🎃
❤🤍💙 all your videos mate👍
“Make way for Mansa Musa! Say hey it’s Mansa Musa!"
I wanna see the story of Grigori Rasputin

I honestly think that my 100% original version of The Richest man in History Mansa Musa is a much better telling of his life
Whenever someone claims they're an African prince wanting to share their wealth, this is what I imagine.

King Solomon: rookie...
One question-Is there any evidence of this wealth other than in muslim sources?
Where is the gold that originated in Mali?
That’s easy it was used to buy blks in Africa along with other blks buying other blks and so on. Actually more whites were slaves to other whites than blks ever were.
The Gold Coast was under his control.
The Portuguese wrote and even painted how crazy rich was this guy. im Portuguese so ive read the book and saw the famous painting of an african man with gold in his hand in the book. i believe the french also documented it as well but i might be wrong with the french.
@@ereimul1444He was depicted by 14th-century cartographers on the Catalan Atlas of 1375
