Honestly I found these right before JoJo, and then got into JoJo from the metal gear subreddit so...im pretty sure metal gear and JoJo just go together.
Sigint steps up to a chain link fence overlooking a playground in the suburbs with the city in the distance rising up to the sky like silvery finger reaching up to grasp the setting sun. He watches several children, some running across the blacktop, some giggling as they go down the slide, and other howling as they climb across the jungle gym. He hears the rattle of chains as they swing on the swing set. He spots the children's parents nearby on benches, cheering them on with bright eyes and gleaming smiles. Then, the boisterous sound of laughter goes silent, Sigint hears a low and persistent ringing in his ears. His gaze drifts towards the orange tinted sky and sees a trail of smoke aiming towards the city. His eyes widen as he sees, at the end of the smoke trail, a long, silver javelin like object. He grasps the fence and thrashes it, screaming for everyone to run but his cries fall on deaf ears. They ignore him or they can't hear him. Either way, his mouth falls agape as the javalin disappears into the city. And then, a bright flash. Suddenly, a long, trembling, and moist wind deafens him. His sight return in time to see the ghastly apparition of a mushroom cloud, brown and septic, spreading across the city. Everything in its wake softens and fads until it morphed into tall, brown stacks of shit. Sigint kept screaming, hoping his warning would reach the families in time but his voice was drowned out by the brown haze washing over them. He stares as the children and the parents contort in agony before their bodies loosened and fell to the floor in brown heaps. The haze blasts Sigint's face, only barely standing on his feet because he managed to hold tight to the chain link fence with all his might. But, he felt the changes as the hot, sour smell consumed him. His skin first, then his muscles, his whole body fell away, dribbling off his once white but now darkening skeleton. He shrieks before he too softens then bursts apart. Sigint opens his eyes and sat up in his seat, trying desperately to catch his breath. His eyes focus and he sees he's seated on a wooden picnic bench at a gas station. He wipes away beads of sweat and trembles, the images of destruction still replaying in his mind. As he settles his nerves, he glances down and sees his knife. Next to it are two words carved into the wood. "DON'T SHIT." Confused at first, Sigint remembered a saying Old Man John used to tell him: "Don't shit where you eat, Donnie!" He stares at the words, wonding if he did it while he slept. What could it mean, he wonders to himself. Before he could ponder further, he feels a tug at his shoulder. He spins around and sees Major Tom, dressed in a trim fitting suit. "Car's topped off.. Time to go. The others are waiting. Can't be late to our first meeting. 'Twould be rude of us, wouldn't you agree?" Sigint doesn't budge, the nightmare still griping him with fear. He wonders if it was more than a dream. A nasal grunt from Tom snaps him out of his malaise, not wanting to anger the Major. He knew what kind of fury he could rain down on him. He decides the dream is just a dream. He sheaths his knife, straightens out his suit jacket, gets out of his seat, and follows Tom into the black Cadillac with tinted windows. As he takes and fastens his seatbelt, he takes one last glance at the table, seeing the message as clear as day. He turns away and focuses on the road ahead of them. Tom starts the engine and puts the car into gear. He pulls away from the gas station and unto the road. They both drive off in silence as their car speeds down the long and empty stretch of highway.
There is a conversation I love in Snake Eater: When Snake is wearing the Naked Camo, and Sigint comments on that. THAT would make an awesome animated video.
I'm getting major Liquid Television flashbacks. If this was shown just as is on MTV in the 80's late at night, it'd fit right in there. What I'm trying to say is, awesome animations dude!
