Scarlet Badis is a cool choice! Are they easy to breed in 10-gallon? Dario Dario is a fun name to say :) I'm surprised that Ricefish is not popular in the states. They're hardy as White cloud mountain minnows. And Daisy's Ricefish Latin name is fun to say Oryzias Woworae
Great selection you guys! I really recommend the Dario Dario too. Love their character. I also recommend the Blue Neon, Paracheirodon Simulans. My brother got twenty yesterday and if you're lucky to get them from a good source, they can be REALLY vibrant in color! They seem a little smaller than cardinal tetras or neon tetras.
@@tobywatson452 I haven't got it built yet but I have knocked down my living room wall through to the kitchen & the tank will go there to divide the two rooms it will be 12 foot long 5 foot wide and 3 foot tall... will have to take the kitchen window frame out to get it inside. I still need to fully research how to keep the fish though but there is an aquarium services company near me so I will probably just end up paying them to set everything up and pay them to do water changes and maintenance so I don't have to worry about killing the fish.

My favorite tank set up I have had and want to recreate one day was my 29g planed community. I had around 10 harlequin rasbora, 1 angel fish, around 10 cory catfish and a couple of otos. The tank was stunning.
I got some Japanese swordtail guppies for my ten gallon today because my fishless cycle is finally complete!!! So happy with my three babies in my ten gallon.
All in all if you are keeping only a few neon tetras like 1 to 3 in a community tank with other tetras thwy will be fine. I had black skirts and neons togehther they got along great even schooled together lol

I like Zebra Danios but l like Leopard Danios more. All my Leopard Danios seem slightly smaller. I like having both species in a tank sometimes with other danios including Giant Danios and Tiger Barbs with Black Skirt Tetras in a 30 gallon tank with gravel filter and salt & pepper Corydoras Worm rock and A Dojo.
Zebra Danio are one of my personal favorites also!! I had a small group in a 20 gallon with a few other fish, and it was Wonderful watching these little Zebra Danios!! One of the greatest Fish experience I've ever had!!!! 💛💙🖤🤎
I’ve been reliving my 1-2 gallon tank from my childhood on UA-cam. So I screwed up when I had 2 Neon Tetras with 2 Guppies? I thought the terms Molly and Platty were the same. (Or the same family?) I had those and swordtails, too. The 2 Molly’s or Plattys even bred once. We managed to get a second tank so the parents wouldn’t eat the babies. Eventually, we gave the last of the babies to my seventh grade science teacher, and I haven’t had a fish since. Most of the time, I had 2-4 fish. Were my plattys lonely, too?

Don't do it Paul! Go with 20 longs😁 have white clouds and danio in separate 20 longs. I am a more room the better kind of person. In the end, do what YOU'll enjoy more.
Maggie N simply put...you don't. When someone even gets near the glass of my wife's betta tank, he gets cranky. If you put another male in there, it's not going to end well. I think you may have been seeing something you thought was a betta.
@KGTropicals Great video but.... No love for the Espei rasboras, they’re roughly similar to the Harlequin, grow much smaller meaning u can add more in and their colors are more striking. Oh yea, and cories... pygmies and salt peppers would do great in 10g but I think u could fit a small group of normal cories like my personal fav golden laser although for those looking for something less heavy on the wallet, pandas. The other readily available ones(albino, juli, false juli, peppered) tend to be abit bigger.

Personally you could do 5 in a 10 gallon easily if you have heavily planted tanks, they’ll give you a buffer. You should be able to do a 25% water change every week with gravel vac and they’ll be just fine. I’m in your exact situation, I got 4 platies and 2 guppies in my 10, that’s “overstocked” to some people but when your aquarium looks like a jungle of anubias and Java fern and you do water changes every week it’s no biggie.

Don't add any other fish with the Beta. Betas are aggressive. Some of mine can be in a community tank but, you must watch them all. I put all my Betas in a 4-5 gallon with live plants,rocks and a sponge filter. They love it!💜😃👍Gouramis are ok in a community tank but only with certain fish and they need live plants/rocks to hide in. Hope this helps. Make sure you read up on species before getting them. I now have 7 tanks because pet shop saying they all will be ok. I get home and soon as I put in tank there's a problem so I go get another tank. I learned to do research before I go buy a fish. Good luck.

Also have the dario sp. Myanmar in a 20gal, they're doing well. I think there is 7 or so of them, and about 11 neon red blue-eye rainbow fish.n

The Harlequin was a clown of some sort… that black spot on a rasbora’s tail is reminiscent of his pants.

Many of the schooling fish/guppies you put on the 5 gallon list should actually be in a 10+
Platys also don't suit a 10 because of their bioload and birth rate they need a 20.

not super familiar with live bearers, but I know neons are a schooling fish and need to be in a group of at least 6-8

How are you able to keep what appears to be two male Bettas in the same tank? I have always been told that is a no no.

Chili Rasboras are ideal fish for a 10 gallon tank. They are very vibrantly coloured and add next to nothing to the bioload.
Great video. Many of these fish look mutated and disfigured. Try getting some new batches to diversify and expand the gene pool.

I love guppies, My guppies are some dumbo ear mosaics and i got them for only 5 dollars 2 pairs 😃😃

Around here guppies are expensive. Only males available and $4-$6 per male fish.
