- Here's how to install Netflix on an iPad running 9.3.5, an older version of IOS. This is an iPad Mini 1st Gen running IOS 9.3.5. Get Netflix on your iPad and watch the movies and programmes you want. Getting Netflix on your old iPad is great as you can still use your iPad or perhaps give it to a member of your family so they can watch Netflix on an older iPad with IOS 9.3.5

Now it worked with your Trick & it asked me „Netflix New Version Needs 14, do you want to download an older Version of the app?“ So I can finally Watch & Download Movies again on long flights!!

worked for me, thanks! In the normal view of apples the previously purchased apps had a download icon, i just clicked on that.
Amazing tip! One more thing: If you ever downloaded the software, if you look for it, you will find it in the purchased section, so there's no need for an additional ipad or iphone, as he mentioned in the beginning.

Thanks, iPad Air 2. Needed to remove old version as it had stopped working. Also the location of purchased has moved from the bottom. Need to press icon top right to select purchased but download option the same. “Last compatible version” works a treat. I was about to get a new iPad.

2023, this solution still works (had an old iPad with ios 9.3.6) and we're already on ios 16 today on other devices. Just need to make sure I dont break that very old wide connector from year 1.

I tried downloading it to my iphone first, then look for the purchased app on my ipad air (using ios 13). Netflix only showed up on iphone’s purchased app. Anyone with the same problem?
Does anybody find that when they try to then watch the programmes/films on Netflix, the app crashes? Can't seem to get past that point :(

Hi can you help me? Netflix was downloaded but when I try to sign in my account it says wrong password but it is functioning in my other ios device (iphone xr)
@@ellavillanueva2863 Check the CAP letter setting on your phone (Done that many times :-). Or reset the password in Netflix and relog in all of them again. Just my recommendation.
Maybe people who don't have another device.

What if you don't have Netflix downloaded on a iphone or ipad with the newer version? Because this Ipad2 is your first apple product. Am I screwed then?
If you know someone with a new iPhone / iPad you could ask them to sign out then you sign in, download Neflix, sign out and they sign in again. It will be available then, get your friend to delete the Netflix they downloaded for you as it will be under your ID.
