Thank you very much for this video. I didn't know the twindos Cartridges could refilled . I have struggled with my new machine since buying it 12 months ago. I have been trying to work out how to turn off the twindos to go back using washing powder instead due to the cost I live in Australia 🇦🇺 as well I would love hear from more people about their ideas concerning mele teindos washing machines.
@lizlebsanft5470 You can turn off twindos by selecting Settings> Program Sequence>Twindos> Select detergent>Compartment 1>no agent..... Then compartment 2 will automatically be turned off. Then add your powder in the left side of the drawer found in the top left corner of machine
The Prewash compartment according to the instructions is for regular detergent. Put about 1/4 to 1/3 of total detergent to be used in there for it to SOAK before the main cycle commences. That’s why it takes longer. And it’s great for low temp or cold washes. Therefore I assume the Twin Dos 2 solution is probably dispensed at the same time as TD 1, so yes, just chucking it in with the wash (or in with the detergent) is probably the best solution. Setting these washes as a Favourite will save a lot of hassles too
I wouldn’t ever use anything but the ultraphrase detergent it’s amazing, yes if you need to do lots of washing it’s extremely expensive, but if you are a single guy who saves all his laundry for the end of the week then the ultraphrase is well worth it.
Yes, miele detergents are excellent. You do get excellent results from them. This video is for people who are open to a more economic option that would not block up the twin dos pipe 😀
Phase 2 is an oxygen based bleach. This is for whithening and also a bit against bacteria. If you select white color, it uses more of it, if you select color, it also uses it, but only a bit, to make sure the colors will not bleached out. - the innovativ thing with twin dos is: liquid detergent chemically can not contain bleach. it will not stay stable, it would loose the effect when mixed in one bottle. but as 2 seperated bottles it's ok. so if you add an oxy product, like you say you do, i guess you should have the same good results, with using more with white Laundry and only a bit with colored laundry.
Hi there 😊 You might find that the liquid will eventually separate and the thick liquid will settle down and increasing the risk of clogging the pipe. Also, adding water will dilute the detergent and affect your dosage and may end up with significantly poor washing result.
You do you ofc, but you buy a machine that is 1600 euro, idk in aus dollar. But wont buy the miele fillable containers ? Also fase 2 is a non bleach oxygen cleaner. So basically liquid vanish if that exists in Australia.
Thanks for your comment. I suppose that's how everyone differs in their own little cost saving measures :-) Will look up if we have liquid vanish here. I think we only have the powder version. Cheers.

If its a thicker laundry liquid. Couldn’t you just dilute it with water to make it liquidy and just increase the dosage to match.

Prudence in itself is a generator of wealth. My father was extremely successful financially, but counted his pennies to the very last day.
