I know I am late but which SD Unicorn should I get? I know that I want a BB Senshi version but can't decide on which version to get. I really like the red psychoframe, but the change in the legs in the full armor and perfectability makes me want to go for them too.
Seriously, why don't they just make all the beam sabers translucent colors? having a white saber and painting the blade pink or whatever other color just doesn't look good.
Also,i found out that for the foot to not fall off,you place the balljoint polycap fully into the foot before attaching it to the leg(it worked for my SD PHENEX since it had the same issue)
I plan on getting all of the HGUC versions of Unicorn and Banshee. I was surprised to find out that HGUC Unicorn Full Armor is a 3,000 yen kit. that's almost the price of a Master Grade. 3,000 yen vs 1,500 yen is a pretty big difference especially when you consider that the HGUC version is actually two kits so it would really be about 6,000 yen to get both of them. for 6,000 yen I could get a really good MG kit, so I might just end up getting the Full Armor Unicorn Gundam in SD since it's so much cheaper and pretty much the same level of quality. also I love that the SD kit comes with marking stickers which is super cool.
exactly! i have this thought earlier, the hg price just way to expensive and similar to a mg kit. i ended up buying the sd version. to think back again, this will go pretty awesome with sd neo zeong.
I really want the action figure from bandai but the cost is like $70 plus thinking of just getting this guy and calling it a day plus ill save $50 to get other kits that were never made into action figures

Unfortunately for me, I've started my SD collection with the ex standard line's Rx 78 and the barbatos lupus, and im unsure if the older Sd's might seem out of place due to the aesthetic change. Would they look good together?
I see your point, but I'm ok with it. The HG is a really nice kit. Adding transformation to it might make it messy. Plus, how often are you really dona transform it? Most people choose one form and stick with that, right?
ZakuAurelius yeah that's true but i would gladly pay a little bit extra for a transformable one because i don't have to buy both forms and i personally like to switch forms after a while yeah it would be messy though :/

The arms, leg and skirting doesn't transform, but you gotta give credit to bandai by making this semi-transformable.

the SD unicorns should provide extra parts for unicorn mode arms and legs,its a shame they didnt bother for the skirt armor unfortunately

yeah totally. displaying both those together would be great.
a little panel lining would go a long way on this kit. got the sd unicorn phenex and the gold is a bit of a let down, but unicorn is unicorn!

Kirk Sabio I Belive the full Armored version is the Best option, If you dont use all the accesories for the unicorn you can use them on others sd
