- Welcome Gardeners! Well I have quite a treat for you all today! A group of wonderful gardeners got together after last year’s Show Me Your Garden’s and formed a wonderful garden club! It made me so happy to see their collaborations and friendship on their channels. When they sent me this amazing video of updates of their gardens from last year, I just had to show it to all of you! 🥰 Enjoy!

Janey, thank you so much for your kindness and generosity, it is a true honor to be able to share our gardens with you and other gardeners, especially since your videos are the first thing I watch every morning! I hadn't see anyone else's video before this morning and I already messaged them that is was a little shocking (in a good way!) to see how far everyone has come in their garden this year. I loved the "Then and Now" series. I thought about submitting a video but my garden has a lot of messy areas, and a lot of neglected areas, that just made me say nope. 🤣 I did enjoy seeing everyone's gardens, so lovely. I thought the woodland garden was especially magical with the fireflies, what a treat. Thank you for sharing your gardens.

You would be surprised how a small area could inspire someone or through comments generate additional ideas. Janey it’s such a blessing that you have helped us grow our channels by allowing us to show our gardens in your channel. @@simple_southern_garden I enjoyed and got ideas from each of them! I have a small yard in North Texas, so the cool, shady woodland with fireflies (I miss fireflies!) is the most different from mine and such a natural use of resources native to her locale. Beautifully done!

Gorgeous gardens. Lynn's woodland garden is my absolute favorite as I grew up in New Jersey with woods all around. So nostalgic for me. Now I garden in Florida, zone 10A which is a totally different climate and more like Emily. I think it is wonderful that these friendships were created. You are such an inspiration.

I love seeing these beautiful gardens! In 2019 a tornado came through and tore out a good number of trees, so we installed a beautiful vegetable garden and started developing a cottage garden around the perimeter of our yard. We were almost done, then a few weeks ago another tornado came through and damaged more trees along with damage to many perrenials, so almost back to square one. My beautiful shade plants are not doing well after the trees fell, but, we figure this is an opportunity to revamp the garden. It may take a while, but I am planning! Janie, thanks for all of the inspiration!

Very fun to see gardens in several different zones. About 13 years ago I moved from zone 4 to zone 9. I'm in Spring Texas. Lots of challenges to gardening here but it's always fun!

I'm envious, its so hot here in summer, can't put everything out in the full sun, even if it's says full sun, no hydrangeas or hostas can barely make it... such beautiful homes as well as gardens would be nice to see up close thx for sharing this with us.

I loved seeing the fireflies! As a child, we had them behind our house, but they all disappeared. I haven’t seen a firefly in 40 years. All the gardens were beautiful! Thank you Janey and ladies for bringing such beauty to the rest of us!

Each of us is facing a challenge with the summer heat. In my zone 10b garden I have moved plants into the shade or set up shade cloth. I too have had to change my watering cycle. I am so jealous of your beautiful hydrangeas Betty, I am South of you here in subtropical Florida and my hydrangeas look so pitiful. I have decided to give up on plants( although I love them and it breaks my heart) that are prone to bacterial infection like powdery mildew etc because here in Florida the bugs and disease just thrive in our environment. I grew inpatients from seed this year and I put them in hanging baskets, growing from seed takes too long with inpatients, filling out the basket.
Stephanie don’t give up try the Bobo’s or Lime Primes. We in Georgia get that same hot, humid weather and those do great for me. Plus last year my Lime Prime actually turned pink
@@inspiringgardenkorner I was thinking to try one of the proven winners varieties before I give up. The ones I have I got from the clearance rack at Lowe's. Lol
@@stephaniefuller I wouldn’t give up completely. I would try one of the Lime Light series from Proven Winners. They are doing great in our hot humid weather. My blushing brides suffer the most and I think I may rehome them this winter.

My hot and dry Mediterranean zone 9b garden can’t relate to the lush green of all those gardens I’m barely keeping everything alive with gallons of water haha
