I think there might be 2 types of giant ants on Skull Island. From what I remember in the movie when Hank Marlow mentions the ants he says they hide in trees and mimic the sounds of birds, but in the show the giants ants live in underground tunnels. If there are in fact 2 giant ants species on the island I think it is pretty cool to see the different adaptations they evolved to suit their ecological niche.

What if the "Croc Monsters" are actually juvenile Sirenjaws? The Sirenjaw profile states that they're more active when young (which could explain its agility) and that plant life only grows on them when they mature and become less active.
I doubt it, the change from young to adult is VERY different, it would be almost like a metamorphisis between a small swoll thin snuoted croc to a giant robust, slow and more sluggish stout noses croc
I was a little disappointed by the creature from the series just big generic normal animals, however Kraken’s uniqueness made up for a lot of that, and I’m hoping that the massive chasm from at Kong’s lair will allow more titans to rise from the depths

Ridiculously fast, way faster than the crawler, a far more powerful bite than the crawler (it drew blood instantaneously when biting Kong while the skull crawler bites really didn't seem to do much to a younger and less well-built Kong). Plus they have long range attack with their tongue.

Well yeah the names are super simple. The Skull island creatures are mostly supposed to be giant versions of real life animals. That has always been the case of Skull Island (well that and dinosaurs). So Legendary is staying true to the roots of Skull Island while introducing more animals. Also those crocs must be related to the Sirenjaws of Skull Island. Maybe a sub-species?

7:38, Seeing this croc beast retreat from the cliff only to belly flop off it to resume its pursuit only to get eaten by Kong with the same effort of a person reaching into their cupboard and grabbing an M&M made me fall in love with this show. Besides the witty and engaging character work for even minor characters like Sam, the titans and their action sequences were some of the best in the franchise due to how formidable the creatures were. 10:09, And aside from the Sea Beast, which threw a whale just to piss off Kong (the titan equivalent of tossing a brick through someone’s window) , the best example of this would most definitely be the chamelions due to how relentless and resilient they were, continuing to attack and focus on food even falling from several stories and even while impaled through the torso.
I like to refer to the Rock Bug as a “Geodepede” (or Geopede). Granted it’s not a millipede or centipede at all, but it stuck. Also whenever I see the Hawk I am always reminded of Galarian Zapdos lol. What if the Hawk is the Monsterverse’s way of bringing the Giant Condor from Ebirah: Horror of the Deep back? I’m not sure why they’d choose the condor over any other showa era kaiju that’s been forgotten, but it’s a interesting thought I think.

If the Killer Chameleons are as big as Ramarak, how did Kong stay alive prior to the 70’s? I know he stayed away from Ramarak, but Ramarak was solo. The KC’s hunt in packs. Are they bounded to one environment in Skull Island, and Kong just chose to stay away?

Now because some of the name given here are super dumb i decided to give some of my own fan names, I'll go in the order of the creatures listed and decide to either give them a new name or let the keep it, this is all in good fun but i wish the team of this show had more creativity and if you want to use these names feel free too. 1: Trapdoor Crab, it's a fitting name but i think *Sandspit Crab* could work well 2: Giant Dodo while accurate isn't very interesting so instead what about *Gigapullpes* , which means giant chicken foot in latin 3: Venus Fly trap creature...really -_-, how about a *Snapping butterfly tree* this name originates from there size and appearance in the show 4: Giant Ant, the name just fits like a glove 5: Rock bug is a boring name so how about *Geisopode* , geode isopode it just fits 6: Croc Monster/Giga Croc, i'm thinking more like *Jungle Tailed Alligator* but considering that titanus doug is a thing Giga Croc is probably better 7: Nightboys... -_- i'm not here to rant i'm here to list name so here a simple and way better name *Star Stalker* , come on it's that easy 8: Killer Chameleon, honestly a very fitting name so onto the next one 9: Dog. I’ve come up with ‘official’ names for some of these creatures:
Trapdoor Crab - Beach guard crab
Giant Dodo - Creeper dodo
Venus flytrap creature - Apex mantrap
Croc monster - Architect’s crocodile
Nightboys - Homo-swarmers
Killer Chameleon - Great-grandfather chameleon
The nightboys kinda of remind me of chupacapbra or how you spell this cryptid's name. The rest were pretty cool and yet munchies for bigger monsters.
Skull island never ceases to amaze with its amazingly deadly and impressive megafauna throughout the different biomes darting its landscape.
What would happen if you gave king Kong, the ALZ-113 Used in planet of the apes to make them smarter and then put him up against a fight with Godzilla? I’m just curious.

I went legit went wide eyed when the Venus fly trap creature popped out and devoured Annie’s mom. And thats saying something. Also I really liked the night boys design. I would love a video of you guys going over the new creatures in the new kong skull island board game: isle of the damned. Like the shocker squid, Jovian flytrap and especially the tree of woe. And maybe you guys can include the grass hedgehog and giant centipede that were also in the show since they weren’t shown in this video. But still, another banger one.
These monsters are awesome. I hope we see them in future Monsterverse instalments [if they survive the skull island storm]
I really, Really liked the Skull Island show. It was announced 2 years ago and ever since I've been amped and I fricking' loved the show. Sad no one talks about it.

If the Killer Chameleons are as big as Ramarak, how did Kong stay alive prior to the 70’s? I know he stayed away from Ramarak, but Ramarak was solo. The KC’s hunt in packs. Are they bounded to one environment in Skull Island, and Kong just chose to stay away?
Maybe they came from Hollow Earth after the events skull island with Ramarak

So, remember that vid where Goji claimed that Toothless could possibly survive on Skull Island through symbiosis with Kong? Do you guys think that would still be possible with the new monsters in the Netflix show? Also, would Toothless and the Giant Hawk get along?
The Giant hawk would probably see Toothless as a rival and try to kill him without Kong knowing, but honestly i dont know lmao

Now because some of the name given here are super dumb i decided to give some of my own fan names, I'll go in the order of the creatures listed and decide to either give them a new name or let the keep it, this is all in good fun but i wish the team of this show had more creativity and if you want to use these names feel free too.
1: Trapdoor Crab, it's a fitting name but i think *Sandspit Crab* could work well
2: Giant Dodo while accurate isn't very interesting so instead what about *Gigapullpes* , which means giant chicken foot in latin
3: Venus Fly trap creature...really -_-, how about a *Snapping butterfly tree* this name originates from there size and appearance in the show
4: Giant Ant, the name just fits like a glove
5: Rock bug is a boring name so how about *Geisopode* , geode isopode it just fits
6: Croc Monster/Giga Croc, i'm thinking more like *Jungle Tailed Alligator* but considering that titanus doug is a thing Giga Croc is probably better
7: Nightboys... -_- i'm not here to rant i'm here to list name so here a simple and way better name *Star Stalker* , come on it's that easy
8: Killer Chameleon, honestly a very fitting name so onto the next one
9: Dog. Dog? DOG!! That's like renaming everything in the sea to be called fish. *Maned Dog* . Easy. Simple. Done
10: Giant Hawk monster could be renamed to something like *Sun Soarer* , it's a unique name that is reflected in its red-ish colour scheme
