as a Fan of the classic Atlantean Namor, I actually like the new Mayan twist they gave him for this movie. seeing how the tribe became the first souls of Talokan, and how Namor got his name from the saying "El Niño Sin Amor" was really cool. it's a pretty drastic change from the comics, but it works pretty well for the movie. it also helps that Tenoch Huerta was so damn good in the role.
I absolutely agree with you! His story and character were the best part of the movie to me, and Tenoch was incredible as Namor. 😊
The movie wasn’t long enough, I feel the end was a little bit precipitated. But I am glad Namor didn’t die. He is a great character with lots of story to tell.

Sadly, we might never get that. His character is owned by Universal, so Namor can only be a side character in the MCU. Unless Universal works out a deal like Sony did with Spiderman or Universal themselves makes a movie.
