Major Spoilers But... Adventurine isn't dead for sure, confirmed in story that he "wasn't going to where his family was" yet. Firefly isn't dead. Sunday and Robin are questionable because "Death in Penacony isn't death, it's dormancy", meaning it's more likely that their minds get trapped in the REAL penacony (the one outside the wall of the city) and their body is in either a coma or vegetative state.
We are unsure what happens in lore when “death” kill you in the dreamscape, we know that firefly lived it, as we battled her as Sam afterwards. My theory is that it makes you permanently unconscious, since it seems to be the work of some aeon supported faction. If I were to guess witch, the cremators. It is show that Gallagher is able to manipulate the dreamscape to an extent, and is able to control the beast. The only other people we’ve seen that are able to manipulate the dreamscape are memokeepers,followers of the harmony, and the mc. And since Gallagher isn’t a follower of the harmony or the mc, he most likely follows the remembrance, and since he’s not a memokeeper most likely, he’s most possibly a cremator

@@LongDeadArtist Blade's sword just broke his ability to keep maintaining his Dang Heng form, nothing more. And also, the result of a rebirth is that the character comes back to life, but dead or deceased characters usually don't come back to life, which is the case for Cocolia and Tingyun.

Turned into this weird clunko and got really mad that the others didn’t like gambling so he made it rain deadly coins and Acheron activated some bloody powers and her colours got inverted or something and they both died

Then I remembered Honkai Impact 3rd and realized that same logic could also apply to the current members of the express. Like they don’t come back with new powers, it’s just another death.
