There’s no question you have to be the best stylist on UA-cam! Others do nothing but talk about styling but you actually SHOW us what to do to make it better!! I know these types of videos must take so much of your time but I also want you to know how much they are appreciated. Looking forward to anything else you produce !

The problem is that, with the years, our figures and our faces change.
We have to rethink constantly and leave our previous style behind, and that`s extremely tiring and anything but easy.
Melissa, Your tips are priceless. THANK YOU VERY MUCH❤

I've already watched the video twice through. I can see instantly how much better the outfits look on the right, and really, they are simple things that anybody can do. I know that I have dressed like the left side, and, didn't really understand where I was going wrong. So, I agree with everyone else. This was a great video and very helpful.

This was amazing! I’ve just accidentally bought an oversized sweater (online sizing is… uh… yeah) and I love it and I’m keeping it but I look sloppy in it with my camper/hiker baggy favourite pants. Add a belt, tuck the sweater in the front, roll up the sleeves, add a string of pearls and pearl earrings and… wow. I look so… me. ❤

I laughed as I watched your segment about the dressing room and wearing socks. When I take my sister shopping ,which she hates to do, she always wears something impossible to try on clothes with such as a big bulky sweatshirt. I am guilty of wearing socks because it’s always cold here but taking them off to try on clothes works.

Very interesting, great to see what you mean.
Tips for hour glass figure mind blowing.
The rest was for a cold climate.
Do i own a coat, or jumper, that would be a no.
How do you style for 30+ climate. While the jackets work in a cooler climate, you would not see anyone wearing one in say today where it was 37 degrees Celsius.
    Shoes most likely opeb.
Hats are for shade, not to keep head warm.
Would love to see how that works.
    Thankyou

Happy New Year, Melissa. I appreciate all your style advice. I'm rebuilding a wardrobe after weight loss, and I'm trying to figure out age appropriate and casually stylish, having been strictly a jeans wearer all my life. What I especially enjoy is when you style those of us who have less than perfect bodies. This video is awesome! I love that you provide so many examples of what's going wrong and how to fix it - multiple ways. It's really making me think about the hourglass goal. I have more of an apple shape right now and even though I've thought about slim shapes to not add bulk in the middle I hadn't really considered how much shoulder pads might help. I also appreciate that you really went into shoe choices as well - I really haven't put enough effort into them : )

Could you do a piece on ‘what is a classy trainer’? I lived 8n trainers throughout my 20s, because I only owned one pair of shoes & I was hella broke with multiple gigs to stave off homelessness. After I graduated Uni & paid off my student loan, I bought professional brogues & court shoes 👠 in classy leather. I’m baffled by modern trainer looks or even what constitutes a solid classy modern purchase. I see all manner of shoes, but they all scream ‘I’m broke again!’ to this 56 year old

New subscriber and so grateful for your refreshing practicality! Now in my mid-40s and changing job roles, I'm literally left overhauling my entire wardrobe. I was losing heart (and money) after 100s of stylist videos insisting that if you're not buying a Balmain blazer, Gucci loafers, and Hermes, LV or YSL bags, you might as well give up because you're wearing trash and "you're just going to look basic and cheap." I want quality and longevity, but simply cannot pay thousands for one article of clothing (especially when next year "that's totally out"). *THANK YOU* for making it ok to buy our "investment pieces" from places like H&M, and for being honest enough to admit that clothes can be classic and long-lasting without costing a fortune. Your advice for imperfect bodies sold me completely. I've made great changes already with your help and unsubscribed from channels pushing extravagant luxury goods as fashion for everyone--especially when many of them were gifted their own high-end pieces. 🙄

L O V E D this video ❤️ Love all your videos but this one was just really really helpful - especially at the beginning of a new year, one might re-evaluate style and wardrope etc.
Can’t wait for the next one 🙌

I’m so glad to hear that as that’s my job at the end of the day, I’m a teacher not just a clothes horse showing clothes so I love that you’ve recognised that, thank you x

@@mmpersonalstyling Very❣️❣️❣️I need to watch it again and again and take notes, because I am still stuck on the left side, but I don't want to buy all new wardrobe, especially that I don't even know what to buy to make it more modern and stylish. With all your tips I will be more aware what is a good buy vs what should I avoid. The same with putting the outfits together. I feel so lucky that I found you, and I have the same exact body type as you so that is a double bonus for me, because I can just copy you🤗❣️❣️❣️Plus I love your style, and you look great in everything that you wear❣️Thank you again.

I really love watching your videos. I get so much out of them. I am now starting to think of how to style the whole outfit, rather than just putting on a few items of clothing and wondering why it's not quite right. Thank you

So informative. Really helpful seeing how not to do it vs how to do it. The more I watch the more of a minefield I feel styling is. This certainly helped me realise why I am just not getting it quite right most of the time- but how do I remember this to get IT right 🤦‍♀️😂

Hi Melissa.. I think this is one of your best. I need to review this over and over. The transformations are so good..exceptional on the last skirt. I think sometimes I do exactly what you said.,get dressed and grab whatever jacket. It is the one area I have plenty of choices. Thank you soo soo much. I hope your Christmas was wonderful. It was so cold here..zero degrees. We always go to Mass but our road was ice. I hope 2023 is your best year ever and your subscribers keep going up. Much appreciation. ❤❤❤❤

Thank you Rita, that’s very nice of you to say so. I panicked every time I put a video out that people won’t like it so it’s lovely to read such comments. Thank you x

@mmpersonalstyling wow, & I will often stop what I'm looking at & turn to your video as it's uploaded! Thank you for the work that you do. I especially appreciate the side by side comparisons of your outfits, as well as when you have someone of a different shape & height styling next to you. I enjoy when your 🐕 comes into the frame, & you stop & hug/pet him, & lastly when you style your mom. Let's see, did I miss anything? I think I did, but this'll do for now.😀 Until next week~~
