Hi, thank you very much for the videos about this topic. I have a guestion. There are these 2 sentences that I should merge into one sentence using "who": "We met up with my friend Angelo." and "I hadn't seen him in 10 years" So I did this: We met up with my friend Angelo who I hadn't seen in 10 years. My question is this. Can I remove "who" in this sentence? I think I can and the key to the textbook says I can't... Please help :D. P.S. Would anything change if the first sentence was "This is my friend Angelo" instead of "We met up with my friend Angelo"?
This is called a "reduced relative clause". If the verb is a past participle (stolen) we can omit "that + be", which is the passive. The man (who is) called Matt, commented on this video.

I have a question. Could we omit relative pronouns while writing as I am appearing for IELTS EXAM next month?

Thank youuu! so if we have S+V after pronoun we can remove it right? But if after it a verb comes we cannot right?
Does this rule apply to all subordinate conjunctions of Adjective clause?
I want an answer to my question
Q: why this sentence can omit "that". The painting stolen last week were found in India. Thanks!
This is called a "reduced relative clause".
If the verb is a past participle (stolen) we can omit "that + be", which is the passive.
