- Create a Ballerina Doll with Yarn and Clover Pompom Makers.
You Can Make This!
Supplies:
Clover Pompom Makers 65mm (Pale Green) and 35mm (Pink,)
Yarn in colors of your choice for hair and tutu,
One wooden clothespin, I used "Woodpile Fun!"
Felt for bodice and sleeves,
One paper forget-me-not flower or something else for your ballerina to hold,
One gold filigree bead cap for crown,
Gold and white baker's twine,
Blue, Brown and Pink markers (I use Pigma Micron 01)
Pink Felt-tip Marker for shoes (I used Tombow ABT color #743)
Scissors, Hot Glue Gun,
Hand-sewing Needle large enough for Baker's Twine,
Creatology Stretchy Cord,
Cosmetic Blush and cotton swab,

Hi Theresa! Welcome to Rick Rack Ruby! I select a hand-sewing needle with a large long eye that is big enough to accommodate the twine. XO
How tight do you need to tie the elastic.I secured mine to keep the pom pom from falling apart but found it difficult to find the centre and insert the peg ? Thankyou
Thank you for asking, Tricia, it IS a little bit tricky. Try to place your finger in the center first to “hold” the opening for the clothespin. Then slide in the clothespin as you remove your finger.
If you are using the “stretchy cord,” you don’t have to worry about breaking so go ahead and pull it tight. You might lose a few strands but not enough to notice.

Laura I can’t find the clothespin you are using. Went to Michael’s no luck. Went online at Michael’s no luck. Used a clothespin I had (now don’t laugh) but it had a little head! Any suggestions?

God you don't need a plastic pot.pom maker cardboard is fine.some familys have many children so buying things is not an option.i don't like pot.pom hair makes it look tacky. Little girls like to see ponytails or buns etc.this can be made with any wool. 🇬🇧
