Sorry to see my countryman Tsvetkov loosing. But anyway Travis might have a chance against Cyplenkov with the left hand because he is actually incredibly strong for his body structure and is a left-handed guy which is just a tremendous advantage. So I really think that there should be such a match.

Left handed Travis is just the best when he’s in shape
No doubt about it. It seems every few years, Travis gets himself back in shape just to prove that fact, and he always proves it. He's one of the best in the world even out of shape and not training. I've seen him where he looked like he just got up off the couch and still was competitive with the top guys.
It would be nice to see him and larratt go at it again
@Stevey TeeVee No reason why he wouldn't be able to do steroids. The sport is not tested that I know of here in US. I hope it never has to worry about testing to be honest. However, if the sport ever does reach a level of mainstream acceptance and wider viewing audiences, then I'm sure it will be subject to testing just to maintain some level of respectability.

Ya hes a big dude diet would be the first thing I would tackle.. If ya want to be champion you need to make sacrifices.. If you are not giving up your unmotivator then you will not rise to the Greatness.
If was in Travis's camp I would have him in Hand and leg weights 24/7 until they become unnoticeable, then add on the weight and start over. Do not move up in weight until you can freely throw your hands and legs around as if they were not on. Includes your regular workouts etc... So he would be wearing them during his regular weight sessions.. Even consider designing a forearm style weight that would allow the wearer to still arm wrestle.
another idea is to create a magnetic style arm system that can be controlled by software.. the athlete slips a certain sleeve or some other hand harness etc then assumes the regular position the trainer can input custom setting etc.. Similar to a drag strip the athlete can have a tree on the training system that can be used to improve reaction times by training the athlete to focus on certain key elements . You could set it up to work several ranges of movement applying pressure to the areas the athlete needs to add either flexibility, stamina, strength in fingers... bad habit correction, weakness in opposite range of motion, hand joint strength based off the position the hand is in. Have a black box added so you can keep your athlete motivated.. Nobody wants to make the coach mad. That box will be all the motivator your warrior will need.

Travis' big problem is that he is not always fully committed to armwrestling. If I were to make a list of the best ever lefthanded, he would be on it. His problem has always been that he doesn't always take it seriously and he comes to competitions in not the best shape. I think Travis, in his prime, with a huge payday on the line, could beat anyone lefthanded. Money is a big incentive for him. Nothing wrong with that.
