Ironic that you write so, since the regime was actually heavy-handed on Sicilian mafia (see "iron prefect" Cesare Mori). No surprise mafiosi fled to the USA in that period

In a telegram Mussolini wrote to Cesare Mori:
Your Excellency has carte blanche, the authority of the State must absolutely, I repeat absolutely, be re-established in Sicily. Should the laws currently in effect hinder you, that will be no problem, we shall make new laws.

It feels like he said "You're suck, it's lucky i want t be your friend."
Patrick Ancona not really. He was at the beginning of his career with a left party, he created his own as he opposed the current growth of Communism in Europe. It was by definition Third Position.
He was just like this that was his voice tone in his inspirational talks that he made in Rome to boost up the morale he talked like this and like moved a lot he was a great talker but a poor commander/leader
TOMMY GUNN!! He was actually a great leader, not without flaws obviously, but he really knew what leadership was. It could be a good or a bad thing, depending by personal views.
Him and his party accomplished a lot that is still relevant and tangible in many ways in Italy.
Also didn’t want that war, major reason that lead to events we all are familiar with.
