As a manicurist from way back … we didn’t have a lot of tools when I started fir bling , but we all had rhinestones; my mentor gave me 2 tips I use to this day both working and crafting. #1 Put a flattened coffee filter under gem container for easy cleanup of spills#2 spaghetti.. yep I just keep a tiny bit of water in a cup , wet tip of spaghetti and it picks up any size or type of gems!! Cheapest tool ever!!!
Love these ideas, I always learn at least one trick or tip every time I watch one of your videos. I also appreciate you sharing your new source, 12x12 Cardstock Shop. They carry an amazing selection of products.
Beautiful cards. I love the sketch ideas you provide. Brilliant. No need to reinvent the wheel. The gem pick up tool I believe is a wax pencil. They were used in medical and science laboratories to write on glass slides , beakers and flasks. This was before plastic disposable items that we now use with Sharpie pens.
Great card ideas Jess! I LOVE your card making videos and your paper cutting templates. You have a special talent for card making. Thanks for sharing your ideas with us.
Cute cards, great tips and fun creations! Love your design ideas and channel! Thank you so much for sharing this. Wishing you a beautiful Christmas 🎄⛄❄️❤️
This is very helpful, have a bunch of 6x6 cut apart. Can use all I needed this, have tons of 6x6 cut apart, need aLl the cards I can get. Thsm .Merry Christmas.
I'm always looking for ways to use up my paper and scrap cardstock stash so was excited to see your video. I always use the long strip so seeing the way you used the two small layers and the scraps in between was a real light bulb moment for me. Thanks so much for your tips.
Hi Jess. Another brilliant video packed full of time and tricks. TFS and for educating our carding community. You are amazing. I would still love to know why you needed to buy another Swingline? Keep well. God bless. 💙🤗🦋🪻
I love your videos! Thanks for all your sketches! You mentioned printing them in black and white, and regarding that, I have a suggestion/question. Would you be able to vary the intensities of the colors a little more when you make them? The black and white version is usable, but it's hard to tell the differences between the colors when in b&w, when they're all similarly dark to start with.
I just found you, thank you for the ideas. You mentioned in the video you have another one that has suggestions on what to do with the "white" are of the card. Can you please post that link, I can not find that video. Thank youi.
Thanks so much Jess for this - I have tons of cut apart and often have no idea how to efficiently use them. These are some great ideas. Do you have anything for the larger 4x6 ones? Besides just plopping it on a 5x7 card? Thanks!
Jess, I have asked hubby for the tank Epson printer that you have listed before. He will be getting the 300$ version. My question is what is the real difference between this model and the 500$ version? Does the cost per page printed compare? Do you have a ballpark estimate that you could say is an average cost per sheet of ephemera printed? You know making 5000 cards a year that it could potentially save me a lot of money. So I thought I would ask if you had any further information for me. I had pulled it up from your link and put it on my Christmas wish list on Amazon. Then I began to wonder if it still showed you as the affiliate that shared it with me. So I just went back and found a video where you had it linked and put it in my cart to be sure you got credit for the sale. Now I sound like a paranoid freak LOL. Truly I'm not, I just want to give back in every way I can for all you have given to our program.
I'm definitely not an expert. From what I know the more expensive printer is better for photos and is faster but my husband did all the research. I also understand its less than 3 cents per page for color ink. This article might give you more info: www.laptopmag.com/reviews/epson-ecotank-et-2850-all-in-one-printer I really appreciate your support!
My first time watching you. I ended up watching with the sound off, as you talked way too much for my liking. I prefer tutorials without the waffle. I did like the idea of using Kraft kard for layering and the designs were great. Thank you

Oh! Great tips! Thank you for sharing! Never heard the spaghetti trick, I'll have to try it!
Love your videos! You're up there with Jennifer MaGuire and Kristie Marcotte just so you know. WOW! Love your sketches!
Hi Rachel! Thank you so much! An honor to be included in any list with those talented ladies!
Alway like watching your videos creating cards without scraps. Refreshing video on ‘how to’ instead of ‘buy buy buy’. TFS.
Very cute cards! Glitter paper or shimmer paper would also make nice mats.

Thanks for the great sketches for cut aparts. I have some 2x2 that I want to use up. I agree that not every card needs a sentiment.

Glad it was helpful! Not yet on the 4x6s but I'll keep that size in mind!
Hint: use your craft mat grid

@@JessCrafts THANK you soooo much Jess.
We learn by repetition, so I never mind seeing someone doing the same thing in different videos.
