What you have to do is understand that if the people in your life love you what should any outsiders opinions matter? Know that you are beautiful and drown the negative noise out. Thank you so much for this! 6 years ago i went into the bathroom cut all my hair off and colored it. I have never ever felt so alive because i was hiding behind my wigs subconsciously. I think when i started watching so much of everyone social media i got caught up in doing a lace wig and ever time i would buy a wig and put it on i felt like i was hiding again. You are look very nice with your short hair and makeup. BUT YOU LOOK BEAUTIFUL with your short hair and no makeup. I have lived with this my whole life. It does hurt. I have low self esteem/self worth and I hate myself. I wear my heart on my sleeve and I am kind to all I meet. Sometimes people tear others down so that they can feel better about themselves. I am a tall female with a large frame. Now I am also about 80lbs overweight so that doesn't help either. I only go out my house when I have to. In my eves everyone has something that is physically appealing. You do not look like a man to me at all. Its too late for me, I now deal with mental illness, dealing with it for over 30 years because I believed these people. For me it was just so many people telling me the same things it broke me down. Not their fault, I should have been stronger. Please keep your head up. Beautiful eyes, nice cheek bones. You don't come close to looking like a man. Stay strong, stay blessed Donisha. It’s easy to say just ignore the hateful comments but you can’t keep hearing these things over and over and it not hurt, that’s understandable. What you have to do is understand that if the people in your life love you what should any outsiders opinions matter? Know that you are beautiful and drown the negative noise out. Don’t stoop to their level. Lead with positivity and instead of wishing they would feel your pain lean on what my grandmother always told me and that is to kill them with kindness. Thank you so much for this! 6 years ago i went into the bathroom cut all my hair off and colored it. I have never ever felt so alive because i was hiding behind my wigs subconsciously. I think when i started watching so much of everyone social media i got caught up in doing a lace wig and ever time i would buy a wig and put it on i felt like i was hiding again. You are look very nice with your short hair and makeup. BUT YOU LOOK BEAUTIFUL with your short hair and no makeup. To see another black women look how i look while I'm not in front of a camera gives me so much pride in what i look like.

I have lived with this my whole life. It does hurt. I have low self esteem/self worth and I hate myself. I wear my heart on my sleeve and I am kind to all I meet. Sometimes people tear others down so that they can feel better about themselves. I am a tall female with a large frame. Now I am also about 80lbs overweight so that doesn't help either. I only go out my house when I have to. In my eves everyone has something that is physically appealing. You do not look like a man to me at all. Its too late for me, I now deal with mental illness, dealing with it for over 30 years because I believed these people. For me it was just so many people telling me the same things it broke me down. Not their fault, I should have been stronger. Please keep your head up. Beautiful eyes, nice cheek bones. You don't come close to looking like a man. Stay strong, stay blessed Donisha.
