- I am New York City musician E. James Smith. Today, I am here in New York’s Washington Square Park with my good friend, actress Audrey Kovar. We are here in search of the shooting location for Bob Dylan’s album cover The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan. We know it was shot in this area, but can we locate this street and re-create the scene on the cover?

You know...i like this video. Thanks to both of you😊
Enjoyed the video- thanks . Audrey had the jacket and boots near perfect. Classic album. If Dylan never released another record he would still be a legend .
Yes, Audrey nailed it! There was even snow earlier in the day, but it melted just before we got to Jones Street.
another place on the bucket list when in New York
It is a great neighborhood...worth the visit next time you are here.
Just caught the Complete Unkown Movie...twice. Wife and I loved it. Very cool vid, thanks. Gotta get down there sometime.
Thanks for watching! More to come. The movie is great. Don't forget tonight Timothée Chalamet is hosting and playing on SNL.
Love the video. Great to match up history to today.
I agree. It is always fun to see how things have changed.
I'm a New York actor and musician too!
Very Interesting, I’m from New York originally I’m from The Bronx and I love Greenwich Village, many interesting cultures are there as far as jazz clubs and I love jazz, I was surrounded by it growing up as a kid. I subscribed to your channel
Hey. Thank you for watching and subscribing. I agree, The Village is an amazing place. I love seeing jazz there, too.
It's nice to know where that is. I like this video.
Thank you for watching. There is another one about Blonde on Blonde and more to come! ua-cam.com/video/wVjKIALJX0g/v-deo.htmlsi=-atljw8TuTi2up1h
Super interesting, thanks for sharing these stories! I’ve walked down that street so many times and never knew this.
True! There is so much history all over NYC that we are unaware of.
The money came from Peter, Paul & Mary releasing Blowin' In The Wind 3 weeks after the album release and that cover song going to Number 2 on the Top 100 Pop charts.
Never say "according to Wikipedia." Ever. Wikipedia is based on sources. What source did they use? Elementary stuff.
