      Seems like states east of the MS make it more difficult to get "non-street legal" rides legal to ride on the streets. Most states west of the MS are more lenient. I didn't even have to get my SxS inspected to see if it was steet legal (AZ). Just registered and insured is all that was needed.

  • @danburch9989
    @danburch9989 5 років тому +1

    If the transmission and differrential lubricants are the same, there shouldn't be an issue with combining the vent lines. Up by the radiator, you've effectively created an airlock which should be fine. Those check vavles that you removed look like the manufacturer used a cheap fix for the problem of water ingestion into the diffs and trans. I have to look at my ride to see how it was done (not a Roxor).

      I was reading the posts and wondering if anyone was going to mention that.
      I'm not sure how this diesel is set up, but I've seen a few times in the 6.2 in the military get soaked with water and that sudden cold water hitting the engine and injector pump, caused things to cool rapidly at different rates and it snapped the shaft in the injector pump.
      If it was me, I'd install an electric fan if I was going to be around water like that and have a switch so I could turn it off completely when I'm in water, and just keep an eye on my temp gauge, but in water like that, you'll be just fine for cooling the engine. I'd also wire in a RED light that comes on next to the switch letting me know the fans are OFF, so I wouldn't forget. Keep up the great work.
