So I somehow know what happened because I'm a shareholder and follow their general meetings. So the high level decision- they have put north american investments under review..which means its matter of time when they will pull the plug. Their revenue is almost down 90% due to covid and I think the roxor sales and the recent lawsuit has mahindra put into lean mode. I think they will just be focusing on marketing and designing the new roxor... kyle was a good guy on service side but looks like their priority is on new launch rather service...
This is the product of the "accepted practices" that our schools teach people who become management. They are taught that people are resources, which fails to recognize that people are more like assets... As you invest time and money into people, they become more valuable to the employer. When people are resources, you create a transient mentality where a person is used up, then discarded; so you rarely elevate your service and performance above the base pool of talent. I hope that Mahindra is able to see the wisdom in this and reverse their furlough of Kyle.
And btw I've been in his situation. I brought back service to a local business and I never even got a raise. They've been bought out now and I feel like I lost years of my life. Keep that head up my friend.
Just wanted to say that I think you are a straight up guy. I really like the Roxor product and I actually went to mahindra training for the tractor side. I believe they have a great product. Unfortunately those people who do their jobs a little bit too well get sacked. The company probably saw he was was costing them money because he stood behind his product. Sad.
