am so proud of myself as a Yoruba when i first noticed Prof Sophie Oluwole, she breaks down the truth of life in a comprehensible matter, with complete yoruba wisdom.
as Plato to Socrate, so is Prof. oluwole to Orunmila

I thank God that she taught me ATR 303 in Lagos State University in the early 2000 before she retired.
If her class sits at 8am and you're not in the hall by 7am, you will not get a sit or might be at the side walk by the hall....even non Faculty of Arts students join in. We have lost a living library or knowledge and wisdom. Sleep on mama.

Thank you for documenting Professor Sophie Oluwole and sharing, I only learned of her after she passed. It's because of people like you that those like me get to learn of her.

Yoruba tradition of respect for elders is a form of cultural tyranny that precludes criticism of spurious and alogical postulations by this “philosopher”. Critical questioning is more liberating than docile acceptance of bs.
