Stuck in the Dubai Desert

- Dubai is a technological and structural phenom of a city. Being in the midst of the insane buildings is for sure a sight to behold….but if you visit here, don't miss out on the "hidden treasure" that is the desert!
When in Dubai, going on a desert safari is an absolute MUST! You can hire a driver to take you out on a fun off-roading trip into the vast desert zipping up and down and around the sand dunes on a ride you're not soon to forget. If you're in Dubai (or headed there soon) make a call to our friend Quamar who we think is the best driver in town!
On this trip we went out into the depths of the desert, drove on some amazing sand dunes, and laughed until it hurt……then we stopped at a desert BBQ where we rode camels, sand surfed, got henna tattoos, ate some middle eastern BBQ, and watched a fire and dance show as the sun set. Definitely a cultural experience like never before.

We just watched the video with your kids. They actually paused "How To Train Your Dragon" to watch it. Ben said, "Awesome". Ellie said, "Great". Kayleigh said, "Good"
That’s great! Glad they liked it :)
Love your work l hoping I can get some advise.
I currently have a lumix g9
Lenses
Lecia dg summilux 1/1.4/ 12
Olympus 12-100mm
LUMIX g vario 1:4 / 7-14
Which would you recommend using more often video
Hey man, thanks for watching and supporting the channel!
I prefer to shoot wide angle most of the time (20mm full frame), and then pull in to a tighter shot for serious or more artistic scenes (50mm, 70mm, 35mm depending on the shot).
Being that your camera is a micro four thirds sensor, you would need to cut those focal lengths in half to get the same perspective, and you need a really low f stop to get bokeh. If it were me, I would shoot mostly with the 12mm f1.4 which would essentially be a 24mm f2.8 if it were on a full frame. Then, both of your other lenses are great for other specific shots depending on where you are.
That said, that’s just my preference, and really you just need to play with it and see what you like. Hope that helps!
@@YaleWall thank you so much for the reply. And for your honest feedback. Would that be for video (12mm) ? I’ve been playing with video and the clarity is amazing for the 12mm
@@precisionmovement8085 Yeah, I like wide angle shots like that for video because it gives you a good look at the whole scene. It really depends on what you like and what you're shooting though. Have fun with it and try some stuff!
