I hate how much detail goes into these events just for them to go away forever. We should be able to play any past events.
You’re actually able to play past events on mobile right now I think. Mobile actually got a better update 💀

They are missing a perfect perfect perfect opportunity to ad the Toyota Tacoma with a dishka at 3.0 and another maybe at 9.3 with a tow lmao for all nations
The extraction zones basically attracts a lot of campers that just wait and snipe people without any work around. Not very fun
Gotta be quick/sneaky and stay by at least one other person
I have not encountered that kind of camper so far. But i'll keep my eyes open for them.
I had 50 resources and porcupine was camping here. Dude my wheel was on evac side and it didn't took me to main menu 😢
You got to be more careful around thos if you sneak up/snipe them you can take them out me and my buddy where playing and took out a group of 4 campers

Fun fact: The Mad Thunder map has similar points of intrest as the 2015 Mad Max game (( aka Pink eyes hideout, gastown and the windmills

It'd be nice but in classic war thunder fashion, to get anything good you'll need to sink so much time into this it's just not worth engaging it seriously.
i unlocked all vehicles and some upgrades at the first day. it doesnt take long and its not hard to do
i hate this event. i keep on getting destroyed by someone camping at one of the points after collecting some recourses
Ah yes another event that will be impossibly hard and long long to complete in such short time
I got 75 materials in 10 minutes its really not hard, just kill enemys and collect their materials

Strange thing is, there are already mad max style vehicles that could actually be added to war thunder. For example, Syrian technicals or the US gun trucks from Vietnam would be unique additions
Since April Fools updates typically explore later additions to the main game, could this April Fools event be exploring armor packages? Like how the Type 10 has different armor levels and add-one like a hard kill APS?
Why would they do that when they could add that version to the premium tree for 60usd
I would absolutely hate armor packages cause it’s more stuff they could sell, and more grind nonetheless

Whwn next vehicle event starts, we don't get any mission score here. So it's useless to play when score event starts
With some refinement, I guess it could make an interesting game mode. Extraction shooters aren't for me, but WT is so in need for any new game mode I think it would be good for the game overall.
Seems a bit boring as an April fools event though. Just standard vehicles with some wasteland decorations (Albeit some great looking models as usual from Gaijin). Granted, it may offer more for people who need some form of progression to keep them hooked in a game, but I like that April fools events are usually something wacky to pop in and spend a couple of hours playing, rather than a grind for something you don't even get to keep.
Fr why do you even get the mule at the end when the grind is done wtf?
Yeah and it seems the cheese way is just camp enemy exits, which you will learn quickly...and just farm them. I am the one being farmed BTW...very frustrating
@juan-pierreleroux8323 the map is really big and poeple need a lot of Rage points so it's bound happen, it's just the fastest way
We should get the actual vehicles or a talisman. Anyway these are not like the base vehicles if you played them you will notice immediately. Highly nerfed guns 6-7 mm pen, inaccurate like crazy, etc. I'm not against this but we should have got 10 times less grind and 10 times as fun with bots and everything. Bots are easy to kill for everyone and they doesn't spawn camp. So bots could go in a convoy and just go through the map and some are attracted to fully loaded players or something.
@@MrPezsgess I disagree with vehicles as prizes. That will only ingress the grind. There are enough grindy events without taking all the fun out of April fools.
It shouldn't be a grind to get the decorations and stuff though. I get that they put time into the event, but it'll go over a lot better if they don't try and force people to grind to get anything out of it.
I said elsewhere, the META seems to be just camp the enemy exit, i keep farmin and losing my shid hahahaha. Its frustrating
i know that many people do it but it shure isnt the meta. the ammount of rage points you get and how much time you waste is a joke. i dont understand how disabled some people have to be to actually do this. i unlocked the rhino yesterday and today i will counterfarm campers
Racing down the road when another enemy comes flying over a hill airborne then we start broadsiding each other like its a naval battle but we're going 80 mph

What mechanic do you think the snail is testing this April Fool’s? I wonder if they’re testing flag physics for ground vehicles, maybe we’ll get nation flags for tanks
Could be a plethora of things.
Field modifications (adding extra machineguns, rocket launchers, extra armor plates, etc)
New free for all modes (like the old battle royale they tested) or even enduring confrontation for tanks with exit zones
Technicals with insane loadouts
Bringing back the last man standing feature too
Could be dynamic weather, there are sandstorms that appear and move across the map

@J.G.Wentworth The single crew thing is called last man standing. It was a feature that was removed and replaced with the extra crew replacement that you can get in cap circles now.
It was removed because it made certain vehicles impossible to kill.
Imagine a maus sitting hull down with no one able to kill the driver type-of-thing

The event reminds me a little bit like Crossout which is also a Gaijn game. It’s like a madmax type game and the tutorial I think has sandstorms like this
The whole game had them I'm fairly sure idk finished it years ago

I was thinking since we haven’t seen a dev blog for the next event ground vehicle yet if we are getting a break since the April fools event is lasting about as long as the next event would had anyway.
i think they may just be testing the bigger trucks that carry stuff like himars and the Tornado-S 9A52-4 Rocket Launcher and Russian BM-21-1 and just stripped the area denial artillery part off and slapped on a bunch of crossout assets they look like some are more modern than others or maybe carriers for large anti-air like Patriot or s300
I'd like the two tank decorations but it's hard to tell how much I'd have to play to get them. Probably way more than I want to. Hopefully they'll be for sale on auction.
I spent half a hour and cant extract a single supply thanks to campers, well done Gaijin
probably my moast favorite event ever. I already got the Rhino at 23:15 at the first day such a nice vehicle
Does this mean evaluation of ground vehicles in RB?
The armadillo is bugged. Gun gets stucked into the 6 oclock position and you get a wonky controls - viewing position if it happens.
Not just that, i think? When i try to spawn in third vehicle, that happened to me. I think it's bug. Locked view, no view change, right click to look around
If gaijin put effort into the “monthly event” like this instead of putting out some brain rot grind for a mid plane or tank I would love it. I’ve had so much fun today just runnin around scrappin and whatnot. It’s a fun change of pace from the grind, certainly not for everyone of course but still fun.

All i want Is the spikes decoration. So sad i'll have to grind kills and fight campers for it.
Its crazy how this gimmic mode is better than crossout as a whole game.
They should add something to protect spawn like a system where full bar minigun no attack u but yes attack empty bar cars, does it make sense?
seriously we now need a dedicated game for this mode with more toyota vehicles
as someone that almost only plays air is this worth grinding out?
Personally, I love the arachis one a ton, that brings me so much joy it’s insane
This one just isn’t it for me, don’t really enjoy it and it just doesn’t hit like arachis if we’re comparing
its a really cool concept, lika a extraction shooter in warthunder but problems are Evec. campers and it can be really frustating to die fully loaded or to a vehicle you cant even really deafeat. if you understand the gamemode it can sure be really fun but coming to that point is kinda hard, just my opinion. Godd luck to everyonen grinding the event or just playing!
Anyone else noticed that after the extraction of resources in the end of the game you don’t get to keep anything? Or does it have to be all three vehicles?
You should be getting you resources I got a max bore and porcupine out the last game I played and got all my stuff so idk

Sadly, the snail was smart enough to remove HE from that event. Killing these trucks with HE would be kinda fun.
Will there be an event tank after this event? Didn't they want to have a cycle with an event tank, plane and then ship?

Glad they gave us more time with a game that’s actually fun…. I’m talking about Hell Divers 2. This event looks dumb, just like their last update. More time for killing bots and bugs

@@aandersson650 just so you know, crossout has the same grind mechanic than war thunder, you need to grind for days to get new vehicles and guns
@@aandersson650 im not saying its to test. Im just saying its a crossover for a reason, april fools is that reason. But that would be a interesting mechanic. Although I presume that would never happen because of how war thunder has been for the past decade.

Tankensteins got a gun to his head. Fun? No.... after an hour it lost all value....
The glitches were bad too. On occassion my mouse won't let me look around so I just have to drive without looking/a gun. Extraction points fail to extract. And oh, most resource caches have nothing, and it impossible to tell what to look for, so keep driving in the hopes you'll run over something good.
Better yet. Camp and win.

Timed weather change, maybe? I also noticed that wheels can be shot off and you can still going with only a driver alive
i played a couple match and extracted succesfully with full capacity of loot, when the match is over it does not give me any kind of reward

I don't like it. It's boring and just another grind event. There's no cool mechanics or anything. Just driving simulator basically.
Not a fan of extraction games , played a bit and was allright but not for me , rather play crossout over this mode

This event is going on at the moment but all it is full of is campers sitting on the exits killing people trying to leave the match. This reminds me of all the fps shooters with the same machanics where you get to your extraction point after collecting what you need only to get team smacked at extraction.....This takes away from the fun that could be had if people stopped been trolls and camping extraction zones.....The mode is fun but the player base that are playing it are bad....
More grind and only decals or deco. Sorry but its a hard pass for me. GL all.
No vehicle reward, grind event, dumb looking decals and decor. Extraction campers, repetitive game play loop. HARD pass, and thank God since im already burnt out with WT.

This event is such wasted potential imo, from the trailer I was looking forward to like a death-race type scenario and at worst just a normal ground battles game mode but with cool vehicles. But no, it's a stupid extraction shooter with no actual goal. You're gonna bring loot out to very slowly upgrade vehicles and go back in to do the same thing. There's literally no substance here, nothing fun about it, just waste literal days your time for some decals. Very sad April Fools event this year
I really hope that there is a different game. So far, the event has been really bad and boring for me.
This event just reminds me of the worst aspects of this fucking game.
You can drive around for about 5 minutes to collect a poultry amount of loot that won't get you fucking anything maybe if you're lucky you get a kill or two and then get shot at once you're at the extraction point and killed because somebody is camping it always without fail.
