What really did it for me this time was direct sound comparison as often people buy these to entertain children (and/or themselves), so the sound and screen quality is actually more important than on higher tier units, which you mostly use for work and you care a lot about performance, speed, software etc.

I got the Samsung a9+ from MetroPCS for 100/with new line activation. 20/month for 5g data. Usually only buy high end devices but this tablet was a deal at that price.
Not seeing an 8GB option for the Lenovo Tab M11 @ Lenovo or Best Buy... At current street prices, you can get an 8GB A9+ for the same price as the 4GB Lenovo - That would be another check in the A9+ column, IMO.
Don't buy any 4 gb ram in 2024 because I buyed a s6lite it now getting slow because 4 gb ram Is not good for today's tasks you should take 8gb version for better performance

if you're referring to the Tab S series, maybe it's because the a series tablets are also way thicker? but if it's the galaxy s (phone) then they're just saving their money and trying to make us buy their wireless buds, lol.

When trying the video recording with the front cameras I preferred the Lenovo. The Samsung video seemed darker.

Lenovo builds good stuff , they know what most consumers use tablets for.They didn't have to throw all the bells and whistles at the m11 that's just the way it works when you're creating profit off a product.most consumers want the best battery life with a nice picture quality. Enjoyed the video 👍

the m11 couldn't handle gpu test, it errors out for some reason which means its probably not great
Huh. The Geekbench scores for the Lenovo are kinda crap, barely better than my Tab M9's (2023) 408 single & 1429 multi. Guess any performance gains from what I would assume is a better CPU (despite it having the same configuration of 2 cores @ 2.00 GHz and 6 at 1.8 GHz) are being eaten up by the far larger screen (both physical and resolution).
I have the A9 8.7. . I ran a 387K on Antutu on the A9. It blows away the A7 lite and lenovo

It's April of 2024 and Lenovo still releasing devices with Android 13 🥴 and only 1 or 2 mayor updates. What a bummer 😞 galaxy A9+ seems to be a better device overall
Samsung have the upper hand, but if the budget is tight, the Lenovo still offers a good value depending on the offer.

@@nabihanabiha436 Actually I ordered the Samsung A9+ yesterday after a lot of thinking.
After watching many reviews I found that the Lenovo ui was sluggish and jittery (not consistent) and that's the thing I hate most, so instead of comprising with the software( buying Lenovo) I thought it would be better to buy Samsung.
Although Samsung isn't providing palm rejection/s-pen support, but it will be better in the long run.

Nope... As per Knox Security website A9 Plus will get Android 16 means 3 years of software update and security update until October , 2027 2:33
M11 will actually receive 4 years security updates, didn't expect that

seems like all these android tablets are just disposable trash. Out of updates in months. The iPad 10 is $300 with at least 5 years of updates. That's pretty amazing
