the GTR would definitely lose because of the timing, although it has more hp but the weight of the Golf makes both same power, the GTR shouldn't have launched after the Golf.

Orrible reaction time for the GT-R. The golf is very fast for "only" 800hp.

I think the gtr was more focused on getting a good launch and not so much on reaction time.
