    hi, thanks for your tutorial, I have a problem of fixing the model, the model that I have downloaded from igus cable chain, it doesn't have center point on the cable connection point.
    Which mean that the magnet function doesn't have vertex to stick.

    If your still curious you could grab the control points and put them into a cluster which you could then parent to things and move them around, for example doing it like that would allow for that motion but would also allow you to add slack to the chain or a wobble into the chain as it pushes.

    Sorry, when I want to use the "Create IK Spline Handle" option and select my Joint1, I get the error "// Error: No valid items were selected. Must be joints, effectors, or nurbs curves." How can i fix this?

      Maya might have changed their IK tools, so you may need to look up another tutorial for that. I think you can also do it backwards by Cntrl/CMD selecting Joint1 and the End Effector before selecting Create IK Spline Handle

      @@leonardoemiliohernandezper1822 I have actually encountered this issue as well several times. I found that the fix for this is to do it through the Hypergraph: Connections. You can find this menu by going to windows>General Editors> Hypergraph: Connections. Make sure you have your joint chain selected before hand then once you open the hypergraph connections to select input/output connections in order to display your joint chain. The button looks like 2 grey rectangles with a blue rectangle in the center

      Sorry, that's beyond me, though I don't think you'll get very far trying to do 3D animation in Excel :)

    May I know how you solve the machine 3d file import problem please? Once I imported, maya very lag at all

    • @RaconteurAnimation
      @RaconteurAnimation  3 роки тому

      Yes, I use software from Okino that converts CAD files into animation friendly polygons. Importing the files directly would create nurbs data which would be pretty useless and slow.

    Can you make the same rigging in Blender 3D?

    • @RaconteurAnimation
      @RaconteurAnimation  3 роки тому

      yes, it's possible, but I wouldn't be the one to ask :) The last time I used Blender was in 2007
