I understand that you are a Linux expert, but you run your video as if everyone out there is an expert at your level....just a bit of advice....SLOW DOWN
@@ArcTechnologies I did'nt want to offend you, simply my suggestion as a Linux beginner to you is that it would greatly assist your followers if you pause your speed of explaination so that your video becomes a precious tool. I see from your comment that maybe you have already taken this advice.
when i extract the flat remix theme into my folder, it does not show up as an option in system settings edit: fixed, i had downloaded the gnome version of the theme
Can anyone help... I'm a windows 11 user without much knowledge on linux... I was just researching about linux and found the concept about linux distributions... I'm planning to install linux soon... Which is the best distro for me to use. I don't game much , but I'm trying to learn programming and other things, also watches movies and like to customise desktop
Idk how you're not getting that option, but you can only just normally launch the terminal and type this command 'cd Downloads/rofi-themes-main/carbonized'. This is the same as opening terminal in that directory with right click.

You probably already tried a few. I like Linux Mint Debian Edition.
Linux Mint 21.2 cinnamon
Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!!
is there a way to do this on fedora? apt cannot be used to install packages on fedora, and I cannot install most of the packages shown in the video.
If I'm right, Fedora uses GNOME. Which means it has its own extensions. But themes and icons should follow mostly the same steps i believe
great tutorial!
it would be awesome if you could make some new kde and gnome rices too

You can use Dolphin file manager and press F4.
Too fast 😔
Will this affect my system performance
Yes. If you have a good pc and generally mint customization like this are not too heavy.

KDE Plasma is way better than Cinnamon, especially Plasma version 6!
True but keep XFCE as backup desktop when some Plasma 6 updates may screw up your desktop session ;)
LXQt (lubuntu) please
