Yeah, Leatherface has a skin condition. He has to condition the skin he wears, before he makes a mask out of it.
But all jokes aside, I think he's got kind of a "Sloth from The Goonies" type thing, going on, except instead of an Italian criminal family, it's Texas hillbilly cannibals who also... well, it gets kinda uncomfortable, for me to actually put it into words.... But the grandpa is basically just a REALLY old person who uses blood to stay alive, if I remember correctly. Been awhile since I've seen the franchise, so I could be wrong.

They were scary when I was 9 lol I had nightmares for like two years 😂
Realized I smiled through the whole reaction. Just watched my first classic scary movie besides Scary Movie, this year. Great to get a breakdown of who is who in the video.
All of these characters are from the slasher sub genre of horror which focuses more on the gore aspect and jump scares than the psychological aspects.
