The best of Nu Metal was these great DJs putting their talent into hard music like this. No genre can ever come close to this era, things like metal step just don’t cut it.
Some of my favorites scratches on that first album are on Purity, that opening is too good! Nice work on Sic though! Would love to see you do Purity 😁👍🏼🤙🏼
hey man, is it possible to upload the turntable only? i’m making my own cover of the sic instrumental, and it just doesn’t sound the same without the turntables. love this cover!
If you want I could send you my clips if you want to have me in your cover too loam Throw me your email, I'll see what I can do for ya, just credit me as the turntablist if you end up using my stems :)
Wait no, primer 55 did a cover of Appetite for destruction, great cover, love primer 55. I don't really ever listen to hip hop/rap and I know that sounds weird coming from a turntablist, but I'm mainly a metal/hardcore turntablist. I do dabble in jungle and ambient shoegaze stuff from time to time but yeah.
Hey dude, sorry to be that guy, but is that a Ddj-rb? Cause i have the same one and i never thought that something like this would be possible on a controller like that. Insane Scratches tho!🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻
Yes it is an RB, one that I've had since 2017, and yeah dude scratching on a controller has a bit of a learning curve from motorized platters but dude can a controller scratch like a breeze once you get the hang of it. Turntablists like Mewzen from Tallah and Pri Yon Joni (a pioneer spokesman and turntablist) both use controllers and can scratch as well as a vinyl turntablist.
@@TheChesterKiwi it's pressed on a lot of vinyls, I don't have their names on me at the moment but there's a rip of Joe's vinyl on UA-cam if you search up meteora Joe hahn samples, it's on there for sure, it's also on full metal scratch it and if you were to put me on the spot, potentially booger breaks or something by dj rectangle.

I agree with about 110% of that statement, preach king.
HERE COMES THE PAIN
Waahuuu wahuuu
You freaking beast man, that was ill nasty! Neatly done, Dug!
Sid's scratch pattern (After "here comes the pain") before he drags it back is really confusing. It's kinda off beat but still in rhythm.
We need u in slipknot asap imagine you vs sid on stage dj battle
That'd be really fun Sid's triplets are way better than mine though.
Pretty SIC
Wowww sublime
this is simply badass
Que bestia, el mejor cover de Slipknot por mucho.
Muchas Gracias my dude :)

What minute is this in the full metal scratch it and pitch to get the right sound ?
It's the distorted guitar sample at
3:20
Then it's the elongated noslip sample at 3:12 into the vinyl
share the scratch only audio for download .. thanks
I appreciate you asking nicely but this is a cover done by me, I have my stems but why do you want them?
#0 🤘
:)
i have a cover band, and were having a hard time finding the things for sids parts, do you mind helping us??

What is that sample at around 2:00 that u scratching w? I hear Joe Hahn use it a lot too
Same sample that he uses in Points of Authority, it's this laser spund that you'll find in his hybrid theory sample bank.
@@CaptainDugog I've always wondered what the source of it is. I take it you don't know either? :(

I think Sid could learn from you
I learnt how to scratch most slipknot songs thanks to him, he's a huge inspiration for me.
Fck ya that was sic

Are you Sid ?
:)
You should’ve taken the scratching out of the actual song
A little hard to do that when the stems aren't as available as with some other bands.
@@CaptainDugog Great Scrathing!
