Bellanca 7ECA Citabria C-GPVG seen performing a few low touch and go's at CZNL in Nelson, British Columbia. Love these sporty little general aviation aircraft.
First I heard it & Looks like a Bell 205? These little Citabrias & Decathlons are so much fun to fly in and did you see how it just glides in for a great touch and go. Outstanding Jesse 👍😎
Citabrias are *fun*. I did a few flights in one when I was shopping for a plane to see what to expect if I bought a taildragger. Takeoffs were unremarkable once you got over the feeling that the plane was going to nose over when the tail came up. Frisky in the air, a 152 with ADHD. Psychotic on landing until you got the hang of it, then it wafted down to three-pointers so gently it was hard to tell if you had actually landed. No flaps, so you had to be comfortable with slips and slipping turns on approach.
Wow, what a great video! The Bellanca is truly an impressive aircraft. The maneuvers in Nelson are breathtaking!!
Thanks my friend. It was cool to see this one flying a few circuits around Nelson!
Very nice approach, great looking winter landscape and nice touch and go's😍 Thumbs up Jesse👍😉
Thanks so much Martin!
Superb footage my friend! Love the opening scene!
That’s how it’s done and a beautiful approach to slipping it in for a nice wheel landing and go
Wow, that looks like some challenging windy conditions! Nicely captured!
What an approach !!! Huge LIKE
Thanks for watching!
Quite the windy day. Awesome footage!
Looks amazing against the snow! These are such cool planes, great catch!
Now that's what you call a crosswind. The pilot certainly nailed the technique. That's what separates pilots from aeroplane drivers.
Great video, beautiful background with a bit of snow, I love it.
Beautiful sharing 😃👍
Thanks my friend!

Beautiful footage Jesse! Some great piloting with that impressive side-slip on final.
Thanks so much James, this little aircraft was fun to see!
Y'all just having too much fun up there as always. Great video Bud.
Great catch! Love the Citabria. She sure didn’t want to leave ground effect on that second pass 😂
Nice snowy scenery. Not a type I’ve seen before. Very nice footage mate.

Would love to see more Tailwheel videos
Cross wind landings are generally considered better on the mains first
*Súper 🛬🛫*
The second attempt was the lowest of approaches. Did he even touch the ground?
I have a question can you come to KPOU New York to plane spot
I probably won’t make it out that way, but if I do I’ll try.
If you come in that steep, your power should already be at idle. Trade altitude for airspeed baby.
