Where the chronograph seconds hand stops in under one minute, is in units per hour. Useful if you're calculating an average speed or rate (tasks per hour).
Some videos tell you the bottom pusher pauses the seconds hand, the resumes when you press again. That only works on certain chronographs like a Timex quartz. On this chronograph, it damages the watch!
Timex holds much more value than the price tag, i have an easy reader for daily use in work or formal situations, his case fits well under the sleeve and have an metal expansion band bracelet that’s so practical, making not only easy to read, but to wear too, and a weekender chronograph for the weekends and casual meets.
Sorry if this is a dumb question but the minute hand and hour hand sub dials do not move when the chronograph is turned off? I just want to make sure that’s accurate.
Ah...I think I've got it now. The hour dial shows every half hour. Depending on whether the hour dial hand is on a complete or half hour dictates whether minute dial is on the first or second 30 mins of the hour. Make sense?
hello,i have the exact same watch and it keeps getting late on time,i customize the exact time that is now, maybe 20minutes later its gonna be behind. To keep the watch going,i shake the hand every minute, and thats so annoying. Also, when i sleep, the watch is great and then when i wake up its behind for like 15-20minutes.What do I do?Do i have to keep shaking the hand every minute or is there a solution? Please help me🙏🏻
Can I use the pusher while wearing my chronograph? I know that engaging the crown should be done while not wearing the watch to prevent damage. Should I also take off my chronograph to use the timer? Just one my first one and not really sure.
My time piece is the Brietling Chronomat it’s perfect not too big and it’s 40.5mm also great explanation on what it is it’s basically a lil start stop timer . 😂
@@Lavi-Aemilia-Astori ZERO chance they shelled out the cash for a real Daytona and don't even know that the Sub-Dial at 6 is the seconds hand... But then again, I doubt most Rolex owners know much about watches at all, sadly.
The real question should be "How one can use a chronograph on an actual Daytona". I'll never have the opportunity to use one, as they are unobtainable.
Daytonas are difficult, but not impossible to come by. You just have to have a good relationship with your AD. A good customer could probably get one in 12-24 months after registering interest.
thank you for your thorough (yet brief), explanation. Bravo, sir!
My citizen eco drive is pretty nice
This is best explanation I have seen
Would help if you showed the viewing audience that the screw down pushers need to be unscrewed first.
So do you guys keep it running all the time or only when timing something??
You didn’t explain how to use the numbers on the dial!

Technically slightly less than fully wound gets better accuracy and amplitude and the seconds hand can be slightly jumpy.

Mine is Timex, it's in a budget and awesome too. 👌
That like is for your cool surname ;)👍
Mine too

Yes.
Well that didn’t explain much. Please rename this video to; How to Push a Button on a Watch.
It's literally the same controls and practical application of a digital stopwatch.
You need to get laid bro
Are you dumb lmao
My favourite is of course the iconic Rolex Daytona, but I hope I can have in the future.
Great video . Thank you for the sharing :)
Chronographs come with tachymeter, telemeter, pulsometer, decimal scales ⚖️, respiration rate, slide rule scale. There are flyback, rattrapante, foudroyante types & regatta timer ⏲ chronographs.
My favorite is, and has always been, the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean :-)
Just had a new Rolex Daytona Ghost Oysterflex delivered today!
I noticed that once you reset the watch the seconds hand didn't continue to run, why is that
The minutes dial only goes up to 30 minutes. How would you read for example 1 hour 45 minutes? Sorry if this is a stupid question. Thanks in advance.

you have a defective or worn out watch. It needs to be serviced, otherwise it is just a nice looking time piece.
The bottom pusher on my dayona wont push if it’s running.
Tag Heuer Carrera Day/Date CV2A10 is my favorite chronograph because it was my first nice watch purchased.
Shouldn't a chronograph have a separate counter for 1/100 ths of a second or at least 1/10ths?

Hey FANtasy222,
You can use a chronograph while wearing it. Thanks for watching!

Thank you so much!
Can I ask you why the sub dial in the middle won’t stop tickling even when chrono is stopped ? I’ve got the same watch .. hope you can answer me 🙏
The middle subdial is the second hand of the watch.
You bought a daytona without researching?

No explanation of the tach? So it's a video about how to push buttons.
Hi! That is coming in another video in the coming weeks.
I don’t miss a day a week #mamacoo This show...
I still didn’t understand the reset button
Love this Rolex but the wife is gonna be upset when she finds out that all im using it for is to time my craps.

Hey I'm ngl I've one I inherited from my grandpa can you tell me how much it's worth
Wouldn't a digital stopwatch be more accurate, functional and less dramatic?
So....you don’t know how to use a tachymeter either!
Poljot Strela 1965 spacewalk chronograph!
WEAK. LACK OF INSTRUCTION REGARDING THE OTHER FEATURES OF THE CHRONOGRAPHIC WATCH.
Zenith
Heuer autavia !!!!
Unnecessary damage as opposed to necessarily damage??
The finish work on the hands are terrible. Why does Rolex outsource the hands?
I agree, considering how much it costs.
Alr thanks man.
Its available on Amazon www.amazon.com/dp/B01HWAWR8S/?tag=wokeland-20
Plz
Ok... Could have mentioned the tach...
Hi! That is coming in another video in the coming weeks.
iwc portuguese......
Misleading title. It should be renamed to: How to activate and reset your chronograph.
I still can’t use mine so this video isn’t very good
No date worth nothing.
Definitely a cosmetic appeal. Not practical unless your timing moving objects.
