@@hi_carebear_hi So wait, do you mean that quitting the company ≠ disbanding the group? I thought since the group was created by the company then it also means that the group also disbanded. With or without disbandment announcement.
I think the company had a part to play in the members' having bad blood between them, if any. It was obvious that MLD favored certain members in the group and perhaps added to the list of things that went wrong. Miscommunication, lack of communication probably contributed to that as well. I hope in the future the girls can be at peace with each other and their careers.

100% A group is much more easily manipulated, and will accept much less from whatever source of power is over them, if they are divided against one another. Hugh Hefner did this with his girlfriends. One night they got together and told him that they didn't want to go out to the club that night. Hefner was pissed. He soon figured out that if the girls didn't like eachother, then they would never have gotten together and teamed up against him and his wishes. He would pin girls against one another, and instead of fighting for what the GIRLS wanted, the girls would fight one another to give him what HE wanted. (Because that girl would then get more attention, more money, and better opportunities at Playboy and in general - and he could then, give the group as a whole much less that way. Also made him feel like they were fighting over him too.) So think of that dynamic in a kpop group under crappy management - much easier to control and have as obedient if you turn them against one another, ESPECIALLY if you turn the main group against the ONE who is fighting against the power aka the company... you wouldn't want your group to befriend the rebel - because then your group could get ideas of their own about turning against you too! It's sick manipulation tactics but it's something that's much more common in SO many industries, its a super common and successful business tactic, and it occurs in any situation where you have a group with one power in common over them. Now, perhaps daisy saw that and took it sour that the group couldn't see it for themselves - perhaps she felt screwed over in friendship that they would listen to the company over their loyalty to their friend - we may never know! Heck. She may not even have a problem with any of them at all in general and is just tired of hearing about it all! But I wouldn't go as far as to put it past MMLD to manipulate their group members against one another in order to maintain power over the group as a whole. You can't just go 8 minutes into momoland and why they kicked out Daisy without mentioning yg and her dating scandal, c'mon.. we all know what happened.. the lack of management ended up ruingin the group, but kicking Daisy out when she was one of the most essential memebers becuase she dated that guy and confirmed it was the beggining of the tragedy. They had so much potential, but bigger fandoms ruined their reputation too and their agency didn't do anything about it. They should have been as big as twice

nonsense. if they had strong supports, dating gossips were no big of a problem. so what? they were so talented, if they had supports this small thing wouldn't be a problem they could slay and shine so bright as they deserved.
I’ve been a merry for almost 6 years! I think I kind of want to make it clear, she doesn’t want to be associated to MOMOLAND, not necessarily that she hates them🫠, Taeha and Yeonwoo still show love and respect for MOMOLAND so if they ever have a reunion I can guarantee that it’ll be an ot8 reunion without Daisy 💕 also: tysm for speaking on the situation 🫶 not many have been and I appreciate it!
Not being in contact with someone doesn't always mean that there was bad blood. The whole "they're family/besties" dynamic in groups is just a facade created by the company. It can be true in some cases but most of them are just coworkers at the end of the day. And there are probably some that straight up do not get along but have to act like they do on camera.
I hope Daisy gets another chance with an agency that respects her and treats her fairly as an artist. She is very talented and it would be a shame for her to give up music entirely.
The 3 members that got kicked out are the ones that stood out to me and made me look forward to their follow up after bboom bboom. Stop following when there were red flags since members were missing.
I really liked MOMOLAND and so sorry to hear what has happen to them. These companies need to be held accountable for what they do. I wish the members well and good fortune in whatever they do next and I will be waiting.
I hope MLD treats Lapillus and other groups under their care better. If their previous practices have been put to light, I think fans of new groups debuting from their company would make an effort to watch how their idols are treated. These are basically teenage boys and girls, with dreams as idols. They do not deserve to be exploited in such manner.
Well look at whats happening to them right now that Chanty is on hiatus sounds familiar... and TFN and Lapillus are still on the break with no activity even on soc med and MLD is focused on Dream Maker. It's obvious that TFN and Lapillus are now sharing the same fate of Momoland!
I still remember the day mld claimed daisy's dating rumors to be true and the boy's agency said its just baseless rumors 😭 that was so embarrassing to witness tbh. Mld ruined this group with mis management and kpop stans still believe a few fandoms is the reason this group went downhill.
I got into K-pop because of Momoland so I was so sad to hear the 3 members (including my biases) leaving and then now the group disbanding. They really weren't treated well by the company so I wish them all the best in their future careers and hope they're happier now
I always thought it was weird that MLD added Daisy after she was eliminated. Taeha I could get behind because she was on Produce 101 and trained at Starship, so she has VOCALS, but it's just weird if you already have 10 members, pick 7 of them to debut, but add two more to get 9? It was a red flag since Heo Chanmi from Produce 101 (and ex-Five Dolls, pre-debut Girls' Generation member) wasn't apart of Finding Momoland.
They added daisy and taeha as an experiment barely put daisy on the album, and the audience grew tenfold from the initial debut's flop. Then they put daisy front and center beginning and middle of their next debuts and it exploded. Pretty obvious who had the vocals the whole time, and the dance.
In the same time it's nice that boom boom worked out so well and the girls got the real idol experience, but I can't help but wonder would've it been better if boom boom didn't happen, because clearly the company clearly couldn't handle the sudden rise
I'd rather not pry into any interpersonal drama between the members although I hope there wasn't any bullying even if they aren't all close. Also they paid for their own produce show?? I'm so over these Kpop companies exploiting trainees and idols because they can't fund their own damn projects. If you can't pay for your own shows, why are you even a company???
As someone who stanned Momoland in the beginning, I honestly think the company probably pitted some of the members against others. I've seen this happen before, the company wants to cover up their wrongdoings and so blames the easiest target. Right before the members left MLD this year, Jooe was on second world and the members all cried while talking about how they had no confidence to go on stage anymore. They implied that the company never supported them. Honestly, I just hope that all the girls get to heal after what they went through...
I've been a KPop fan since 2009, when 2NE1 disbanded I thought I was done with it. But in 2020 Momoland brought me back. The more I got to know the group I feel pity for them on how MLD Entertainment had treated them. They had great chemistry between each other and the company ruined it. As much as it hurts Merries should give Momoland time to heal. Pretty sure I'm not the only one who wants Momoland to be together as OT9 but it's impossible right now. Only time will tell.
Momoland was the very first group that got me to kpop specifically bboom bboom, but now they disbanded and i feel bad for the members. But atleast they are now gone on that sh!t company. Lets all just support them on their own ways now guys :

MOMOLAND is One of my Bias Girl Groups in K-Pop. I'm a Merry Since "Freeze" Era (because of my Wanna One Bias Kim Jaehwan). JooE & Taeha (former member) are my Biases in the Group. I REALLY MISS THEM!!! 😢💔😭
momoland became a huge hit outside of south korea idk why their company didn't took advantage of that opportunity?! i remember when i first saw a video of Nancy i was shocked at how one person can be that very beautiful... the anger of the 3 ex-members that 'left' earlier is ofc valid but shading the remaining members now? whats the point? the remaining members tried so hard to keep momoland moving despite everything that happened.
It's just shocking how badly this group was mismanaged by mld. They had a group of fantastic singers, every women a true beauty, vibrant personalities. Fantastic dancers. And they were popular, they had tons of fans but somehow they just could not make it work
I can see eventually cutting Yeonwoo and Taeha because they both have a similar voice to Jane where only 1 is needed but Daisy was a standout with a unique tone and texture to her voice as well as very unique rap voice. Cutting Daisy was their eventual downfall. The same is going to happen to Itzy with Lia gone as she was the unique voice, the sweet one, and the visual. Where Itzy could survive without Yuna, they cannot without Lia. Momoland could have survived without 2 of the 3 big voices Jane/Yeonwoo/Taeha, they could not survive without Daisy.
@@floatamongstthestars Yuna wasn't supposed to be in Itzy from the start. The 5th was supposed to be Jeon Somi but she didn't like the contract and went to Teddy at Black Label. Yuna was then brought up to Itzy and has been an EXCELLENT and VERY SKILLED member ever since. That changes nothing from the fact that Lia is the only one who was irreplaceable in Itzy.

please don't imply that the other members are bullies or cruel to the members who left without confirmation? that's how so many hate trains get started and until there has been confirmation straight from the mouths of those involved, it can be so incredibly damaging to those involved in the future to make such accusations. it's disappointing to see a channel with your following making assumptions and accusations like this
I really appreciate Daisy speaking out for the fans, as for the members not speaking, I think it’s bc in private they aren’t rly that close, most Kpop groups members are put together to form an image but in reality they aren’t rly close with one another, it’s just for public image.Tho the company really need to give a statement or an explanation as to why really happened
Daisy seemed very close with some of the members back then so i feel like they broke off contacts because of her feud with mld and the girls probably didn’t defend her to save themselves. Maybe mld forbid them to have contact with her. But the remaining Momoland members are great people so i don‘t think bullying was involved at all.
Also, is not like the 3 members that were kicked out hang out with each other, they probably just had a business relationship and were never close to each other.
Just to be clear, I'm pretty sure MLD forbid momoland to talk to the other members that were kicked out. Even yeonwoo when she was forced to be MLD's actress the members couldn't talk to her even tho they're still under the same label. The only time the remaining momoland members kinda mentioned the others was on their vlive on december 2019 wishing that things would be better for all especially kpop groups next year and they all cried. It's all because of the trash management of the company!
This is true. MLD forced separation so they were never able to talk to each other. Now that the other members are free of MLD, we'll see if any amends are made. Keep in mind these were all young girls who wanted to be able to promote and be on stage in front of fans so would follow what the company asked them to do
I still remember when Momoland's Boom boom pretty much ate the Philippines and the rest of SEA in 2018, I still remember the dance hahahaha. Best of luck to everyone's future endeavors and don't lose the joy and hope y'all have given to us.
I feel the sadness comes from watching groups like Momoland consist of people who, due to being so close together, we think of them as forming friendships and share in each others' life trials and tribulations, while also contemplating that they might not necessarily have got along even though they work hard in their songs and dance routines. Personalities clash, cliques might form, and non-work issues might seep in. At the end it's just another workplace, and members might appear to be friendly when they might want to hide their true problems for the sake of the team. And even if they were some large close knit group of life buddies, they got a business management that likely brought a negative or disruptive influence. Imagine being great friends with someone like Nancy, but due to legal or company policy you had to leave and she's not even allowed to talk to you anymore. It's very crushing, it makes you feel like you did something wrong to lose someone in your life. And being celebrities, it's all open to the public to talk about. You might still love and admire her, but feel like the feeling and well wishing is mutual.
I discovered K-Pop because of Momoland, loved their music, I tried listening to other groups, but eww no, only Momoland had that something that got me hooked, and then they disbanded 💔 why everything I love gets cancelled, is overall hated or fails 😭
I never really cared about Daisy and it’s disrespectful af for yall to be saying Momoland couldn’t survive without her like all the other members didn’t work hard. They were doing fine. Plenty of talented members doing their job. A shitty company is another story.
Maybe there wasn’t a fall out or bad blood. Maybe they were all just there to be idols and weren’t really that close of friends. And someone being asked repeatedly about a past group when they just wanna close that chapter in their life is probably really annoying, especially when you said you didn’t wanna touch on the subject anymore. So when Momoland disbanded, they just went and down whatever it is they wanted to do.
i think they were really good friends because even now after the 6 members have disbanded, they still meet sometimes and support each other on insta. but maybe after daisy left the other members were not allowed to talk to her
The members were not allowed to have any contact what-so-ever with Daisy.... Obviously , with all contact cut off, Daisy would naturally feel hurt and betrayed...But those members didn't have a choice in the matter or be kicked out themselves
Momoland was a good group, but MLD is not a good agency. And they really didn't have great music, yes one hit, but the next song was almost a repeat, so low creative from producers. And it is terrible that they mistreat the members!
I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't really close, and I wouldn't hold it against them, at the end of the day they were just coworkers, not everyone becomes besties with the people they work with, and their company sounds extremely stressful to work with, so it wouldn't be surprising if it ruined the relationships between the girls.
we have some aspecs to consider like the entity that invested in the company might want the short gain rather than waiting so the the company maybe was force to put the money to the investor rather than the idols or maybe the idols were taken advantage by the company
The kpop industry is extremely competitive. The idols are pitted against each other for years and then suddenly expected to become a united team once the debut line up is solidified. This toxic relationship foundation can get better and turn into beautiful friendships with time and a great working environment, however MOMOLAND as OT9 did not have either.
This was my favorite group. I love all the members (Taeha being my Bias & Ahin being my Bias Wrecker). Whatever happened, I wish them all well and a successful future ❤ Lee Hye Bin Lee Dabin Sung Jiyeon Kim Taeha Kim Nayun Yoo JungAhn Lee Ahin Lee JooE Lee Guru Love you all dearly ❤
I don't think there is necessarily a beef between daisy and the other members, I believe she is upset because they didn't support her during her dispute with Mld ent. as she said they haven't spoken since 2019 this might be the reason why her response to the members leaving the company was so aggressive.
Daisy is still dealing with MLD in court. They appealed the court's decision breaking Daisy's contract and forcing them to pay her like $90K USD. It's been over a year now and she's still waiting.
@@nesly9769 She won the initial verdict which allowed her contract to be broken so she was able to use social media again, but MLD doesn't have to pay her unless they lose the appeal. Yeah, I'm sure she's sick of it.
most likely, MLD made the 6 members not allowed to talk to the former 3. and maybe they still have things to fix internally before they can be able to speak out
Momolands downfall started when they axed Taeha,Daisy and Yeonwoo. Imagine going big with Boom boom and Baam the following year, then removing their main vocal, main rapper and main visual. MLD is a garbage.

man fans can be so entitled leave daisy alone if she doesn’t want to talk about momoland then stop asking her she may not be having this harsh reaction towards the members this could pretty much be her reaction to your rude behavior she already said on ig q&a that this will be the last time she answers about momoland
It's even worse when you have the two biggest fandoms creating that hate train in 2018. Momoland's official Instagram account had to disable comments on some of their posts because it was THAT bad.
Just imagine if Nancy got a royalty for every YT fancam, Twitter, and IG post that have been produced of her. Millions and millions of views over time.
We'll probably never know all of the details behind-the-scenes. This just goes to show that just because groups seem like friends on CAMERA, doesn't mean they are off. I wish the best for the girls though.
MLD will quietly blacklist them all so no other agency will take them in. This is why Daisy and Taeha dont have music careers elsewhere. Yeanwoo only escaped the list because she is acting but will still never be able to go back to music.
Daisy and the rest of the girls need to be returned to the group. Thank God, having terminated the contract with the company, they are now independent and can, having found a decent sponsor, start working independently. There should be nine talented girls in the group. This will enrich the vocals and enhance the visual quality of the dance.
idk about the whole mistreatment thing but i remember daisy's mom making a statement that daisy was heart broken and she (mom) was furious with the other girls when daisy was kicked out, she said the other girls were supposedly daisy's friends but did nothing to support her when she fought with MLD and didnt try to help her or stand up to MLD when they kicked her out. and if i remember right i think daisy also said something to the effect that she thought the members were close with her but in the end stabbed her in the back, point is she made it clear that besides her serious beef with MLD she also felt betrayed by the members, so no wonder she doesnt talk to them or care about them anymore
I will miss momolamd, they were a big girl group I listened to before, which made me want to discover more groups, really loved all their songs, I knew they were going to disband when there was only a few girls in the group after that one song they made.
My theory is they will reDebut in different company because they been quiet on their social media some members still have Momoland in their bios. They are maybe taking legal action to the MLD and trying to keep there name that why they keep quiet for now.? Idk that’s my theory lol
If a worker got eliminated while training then suddenly they'd show up for work, they'd get bullied. This happened to me, so I bet same thing happened to Daisy. It is good she don't give an F about the 6 other members.
Long story short, they did not have a good company to start with, they were not well taken care of. The agency/company is not stable and is not reliable. I love Momoland though, too bad they landed on a company that just doesn't care about their well being but just profit...

@@emjay2805 That's why people are worried about Lapillus.
@univerxse yeah probably that's one of the point
@univerxse if MLD only know how to use the dating scandal for more promotion of the group and publicity, they wouldn't need to fuck up Momoland.
@univerxse company doens't like momoland to date other artist like bts or straykids though instead dating scandal very dissapointed that make girl group dropped out
nonsense. if they had strong supports, dating gossips were no big of a problem. so what?
they were so talented, if they had supports this small thing wouldn't be a problem

I’ve been a merry for almost 6 years! It sounds like they made her a villain XD
Forever gonna miss Momoland, I pray they find happiness elsewhere becoz they treated so bad but they so talented they deserve the world
I hope Daisy gets another chance with an agency that respects her and treats her fairly as an artist. She is very talented and it would be a shame for her to give up music entirely.

Ikr
She's not in the final lineup of SNSD!! nor in the pre debut lineup :)
Heo Chanmi needs to be a soloist first of all, not in a group with way younger girls
@@sarahg1002 she is a soloist .....
I hope the girls find happiness somewhere else because they weren't treated right 🙁
As someone who stanned Momoland in the beginning, I honestly think the company probably pitted some of the members against others.
Lets all just support them on their own ways now guys :

momoland became a huge hit outside of south korea idk why their company didn't took advantage of that opportunity?! i remember when i first saw a video of Nancy i was shocked at how one person can be that very beautiful... the anger of the 3 ex-members that 'left' earlier is ofc valid but shading the remaining members now? whats the point? the remaining members tried so hard to keep momoland moving despite everything that happened.
You don’t need to drag Yuna, just support Lia 🙄
@@floatamongstthestars Yuna wasn't supposed to be in Itzy from the start. The 5th was supposed to be Jeon Somi but she didn't like the contract and went to Teddy at Black Label. All these kpop channels are drama baiters. This is exactly how Momoland got bullied back in 2018 and 2019 by two of the biggest fandoms.
Exactly please wait to hear from all sides before judging them
true
I really appreciate Daisy speaking out for the fans, as for the members not speaking, I think it’s bc in private they aren’t rly that close, most Kpop groups members are put together to form an image but in reality they aren’t rly close with one another, it’s just for public image.Tho the company really need to give a statement or an explanation as to why really happened
Daisy seemed very close with some of the members back then so i feel like they broke off contacts because of her feud with mld and the girls probably didn’t defend her to save themselves. Maybe mld forbid them to have contact with her. But the remaining Momoland members are great people so i don‘t think bullying was involved at all.
if yeonwoo was bullied by the members then why did she say that she wants to stay with momoland but mld forced her to leave
Keep in mind these were all young girls who wanted to be able to promote and be on stage in front of fans so would follow what the company asked them to do
I must say I agree with both of you whole heartedly. The threat of your career being spent in limbo is a strong motivator.😢
I still remember when Momoland's Boom boom pretty much ate the Philippines and the rest of SEA in 2018, I still remember the dance hahahaha.
Best of luck to everyone's future endeavors and don't lose the joy and hope y'all have given to us.
Loved their Bboom Bboom!!
There is no point in speculating what happened. Should just wait for somebody to speak up.
Momoland became Nancy and friends though the other members are also very pretty but they never really had the same exposure as what Nancy had.
Momoland was a good group, but MLD is not a good agency. And they really didn't have great music, yes one hit, but the next song was almost a repeat, so low creative from producers. And it is terrible that they mistreat the members!
i think daisy and taeha are still close, they're following each other on instagram.
Daisey literally has TikTok she explained this herself now
One of my favorites, and I still love listening to their songs. Yet another wonderful group ruined my incompetence and mismanagement.
I loved Daisy. She was unique
I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't really close, and I wouldn't hold it against them, at the end of the day they were just coworkers, not everyone becomes besties with the people they work with, and their company sounds extremely stressful to work with, so it wouldn't be surprising if it ruined the relationships between the girls.
we have some aspecs to consider like the entity that invested in the company might want the short gain rather than waiting so the the company maybe was force to put the money to the investor rather than the idols or maybe the idols were taken advantage by the company
i feel so bad for these poor girls, its kinda a blessing in disguise for the eliminated girls,
The kpop industry is extremely competitive. The idols are pitted against each other for years and then suddenly expected to become a united team once the debut line up is solidified. This toxic relationship foundation can get better and turn into beautiful friendships with time and a great working environment, however MOMOLAND as OT9 did not have either.
This is so sad we will miss momoland

I don't think there is necessarily a beef between daisy and the other members, I believe she is upset because they didn't support her during her dispute with Mld ent. as she said they haven't spoken since 2019 this might be the reason why her response to the members leaving the company was so aggressive.

It's even worse when you have the two biggest fandoms creating that hate train in 2018. Momoland's official Instagram account had to disable comments on some of their posts because it was THAT bad.
this made me worry on what will happen to TFN and Lapillus
Daisy won her law suit btw.
Omg I've been searching for a new video that about what is really happening to momoland since few months ago and this video came out..
The company treated these girls so poorly I’m not surprised they don’t want to be reminded of the group
They were the first girl group I ever really listened too, and I was so sad when they disbanded
All groups from small company suffer the same thing. So the problem is clearly on the entertainment industry system itself.
idk about the whole mistreatment thing but i remember daisy's mom making a statement that daisy was heart broken and she (mom) was furious with the other girls when daisy was kicked out, she said the other girls were supposedly daisy's friends but did nothing to support her when she fought with MLD and didnt try to help her or stand up to MLD when they kicked her out. and if i remember right i think daisy also said something to the effect that she thought the members were close with her but in the end stabbed her in the back, point is she made it clear that besides her serious beef with MLD she also felt betrayed by the members, so no wonder she doesnt talk to them or care about them anymore
