Yes you can do that.. First of all you need to write a code for button counter. First button is for increment counter and the second is for decrement counter. After that you can place the led sequence code in counter. Like counter 1 is for effect 1 .. effect 2.. effect 3..... Something like this you can do that...

Yes, It is possible, but the resistor is used for protecting the LEDs. Without a resistor, sometimes LED draws too much current and burns out. You can easily found a resistor in some old electronics components but make sure the values and don't forget to subscribe to my channel✔💙

There is no need of relay board because arduino uno only need 5v for working and you can also use a mobile charger for 5v and external power supply upto 5 to 12v.

I'm new to all of this. Why 220 ohm resistors? if the clear LEDs require 3 volts then a power supply of 5V - 3V=2. Then 2 divided by 20ma(0.02) is 100 ohms. If using 9 volts I still didn't come up with 220 ohms. I'm so confused.
Yes your are right. I don't want to confuses you. There is a different colour of leds and it require different Voltage so thats why I use 220 ohm resistor to protect different colour leds too.
Yes, it's possible but you have to use N-channel MOSFET (logic level) because the Arduino digital pin current is 200mA and led strip needs more than 1A of current and You also need 12V 1.5A battery for power the led.

I am trying to write a code which is based on world map sunlight So each led represents 1 hour 24 leds = 24 hours Based on current time (india) it should on the led where it has sunlight The LEDs will be placed horizontally below the flat world map I have tried so many logic but couldn't crack it, in free time if you can think something .. the logic can be in java as well (printing the array of leds = sunlight on world map)

Its depends on the resistor value.
If you use less then 150 ohm it might destroy the LED and greater then 400 ohm will decrease the led brightness.

For that you have to buy an addressable LEDs, only one pin is require to control all LEDs.

Arduino IDE. I also use arduino ide.
Bro we can do this without resistor.
Without the resistor the led will be draw much more current than that and will eventually damage the led.
