I am loving this stitch pattern!!! I've been waiting for the perfect moment to make it and it'll be for the newest baby girl to join our family this year. I absolutely love the way you make these berries. They're the perfect size and pop without too much yarn. I watch you and your lovely sisters' channels religiously because of your beautiful patterns and easy to follow tutorials. Thank you for sharing your gifts!
THIS WILL BE MY NEXT AFGHAN FOR MY NEW GRANDDAUGHTER DUE SOON. YOUR TUTORIAL IS GREAT, SLOW, PRECISE. I THINK I'LL DO THIS ONE IN LAVENDAR. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
I just finished this for a friend at church. Such a sweet blanket! I love the texture and shell border. I used Red Heart hygge charm in meteor (baby pink with some sparkle) and only used up 2 skeins. But I believe there is more yardage in mine than the yarn you recommended on your website. I counted the berries at the beginning (47) and was holding my breath counting the berries at the end (also 47)!! Save your sanity; count your stitches! Thank you DFC for your awesome patterns and tutorials!
Stroller size 30 x 35. Thank you for the measurements. I just started a new one and couldn't decide on the size. That color "Persimmon" is my all-time favorite color! I really like the finished border you used on this one.
It's amazing watching her crochet because you literally can tell it's a family thing her movements are just like her mother's they hold it so delicately and they have the same sense of timing I feel like I am manhandling my yarn after watching them 😁
Same as @SuperSusie48, I find it smoother and faster to rotate my hook backward to pull the yarn through the half double slip stitch. I also use the same technique to crochet the herringbone half double stitch. It has been a game changer for me. If you're struggling, give it a try. Just remember to be consistent. 🧶🤗
Thanks so much for a beautiful pattern. Can you let me know how do I crochet the shell border to show on the same side of the berry stitch. Thanks, Connie.
I am new to crocheting and found the tutorial very easy to follow. Lovely pattern. Was wondering how to turn this into a multicolor- whether to change colors just on the textured rows or to do each block of rows a different color 🤔
Hi, is there a reason to end n cut the yarn before u start the border? I was thinking I could just keep going . Chain one and start the singles around. Is my thinking wrong ? Love the pattern. TY. Pat
How many rows should I work to make the border work correctly? Should I end on a half double crochet row. I am a 74 year old newbie so appreciate the help.
This is a pretty stitch pattern, I'm going t try it for one of y donation quilts for project linus. I'm curious how it would look using al DC instead of HDC or if it would work, will have to play around!
Pretty patten. First time I have heard of a single half slip stitch. There is a blanket I make that you only crochet in back loops only so that it looks like stair steps. Going to try with the single half slip stitch and see if it looks more like corduroy.
Tiffany...I LOVE your tutorials! In fact I'm making the bogo blanket your daughter created. Question...is there an easy formula as to how to increase the size of a baby blanket to a throw and figure out yarn needed using the same yarn in the pattern? Thank you
Mine is the same way. It doesn’t look as solid. Is there a reason for this? I’m using number three yarn with a 5 mm crochet hook. Thank you in advance!
Beautiful blanket! Today I finished my raspberry blanket and also the hat. Do you have a dress with this stitch? I looked through your playlist but couldn’t find one unless I missed it. Thank you for your tutorials
So do you not put 3 single crochets into the 1st corner? If I'm following correctly, you just pulled up a loop into the first corner, then ended with a slip stitch. So basically only one sc in the 1st corner? Beautiful blanket!
Hi Hannah. I love this pattern. Unfortunately, for me, I’ve had to undo it three times because it ends up looking like a rainbow. My numbers are correct, C-136 and insert into first stich and chain up at ends what it states, and always end up with a rainbow. Some blankets they tell you will eventually straighten out, I don’t think this one will. I’ve gone as far as two sets of five rows, help! TIA
Newbie ish here - why do the shell border from the backside of the blanket & not with the berry/lines facing you? Like why turn it after the first row of border SCs & not just carry on around switching straight from SC into the shell border? Does it just look better or tidier that way? Is there a reason for it? Cheers P.S I'm def having a crack at this! Love it 🙂

I've never seen a half-double slip stitch, very interesting. It makes a different texture for a pattern, thank you for sharing
I really think this blanket is so appealing The stitches are just right and the colour is happy

How many skiens approximately needed for this size?
Love this pattern, I found it easier for me on the half double slip stitch to rotate my hook backwards to pull through the loops smoother and faster 😀
I've just completed a lemon baby blanket in this gorgeous pattern and I love it. Thank you Hannah. It's going to be one of my go to stitches.
Gorgeous, thank you so much for teaching how to crochet this lovely pattern.
It's amazing watching her crochet because you literally can tell it's a family thing her movements are just like her mother's they hold it so delicately and they have the same sense of timing I feel like I am manhandling my yarn after watching them 😁

Very pretty pattern! Would love to make the blanket but I think it might also look nice for a scarf. 😊

Hi Is the red heart yarn recommended for baby blankets? Isn't it kind of rough?
What do you think? Thank you

This was beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful and well done.
I really don't like acrylic yarn. What would be a good substitute for this?

Very pretty!
Gorgeous❤
If you use a different color for border, do you start second color after the single crochet around whole blanket?
Thank you I will make this one.❤️👍🏼🌵🇺🇸
Beautiful!
Currently working in this, but I changed the border. Loved it.
I have that yarn!
Ready set go
I love that blanket. I like to have the pattern please send it to me. I would like to crochet that beautiful blanket . Thanks very much Erika
Tiffany...I LOVE your tutorials! In fact I'm making the bogo blanket your daughter created. Question...is there an easy formula as to how to increase the size of a baby blanket to a throw and figure out yarn needed using the same yarn in the pattern? Thank you
Beautiful....thank you
I love the blanket! Does this pattern work for both a boy any girl?
I am following along. However mine looks different. I have bigger gaps. I’m using a 5.5hook. Your blanket looks solid mine looks gappy 😢😮
Mine is the same way. It doesn’t look as solid. Is there a reason for this? I’m using number three yarn with a 5 mm crochet hook.
Thank you in advance!
Very pretty 😍
Beautiful blanket! Today I finished my raspberry blanket and also the hat. Do you have a dress with this stitch? I looked through your playlist but couldn’t find one unless I missed it. Thank you for your tutorials
Great tutorial thank you so much xx
By how many stitches must the pattern be divisible? plus edge stitch. Thanks
How much wool is required for the sweet Berry baby blanket
So do you not put 3 single crochets into the 1st corner? If I'm following correctly, you just pulled up a loop into the first corner, then ended with a slip stitch. So basically only one sc in the 1st corner? Beautiful blanket!
how many skeins and what size yarn? thankyou
Thank yolu🥰
Thank you it beautiful blanket
How many chains would I need to make this 36in wide
Why do you not work the shell border on the right side
GORGEOUS GORGEOUS GORGEOUS

Super cute!
How many 100 grams bernat baby wool is required for baby blanket

Some blankets they tell you will eventually straighten out, I don’t think this one will.
I’ve gone as far as two sets of five rows, help!
TIA
How long did it took you to finish the whole blanket?
Can anyone tell me if this pattern would work with thinner yarn as long as I use the appropriate sized hook for the yarn?
I'm working it with a #3 yarn I bought by mistake. Looks fine but I think the texture would look better with a thicker yarn.
I’m using two strands of number 3 and it looks good!
Beautiful!!!
Love this thank you
Great tutorial! Can't wait to try it!
