How did you get the video footage? With mine it will happily cast live to the app, and then i can view the footage in the app, with annoying sidebars, but it wont let me download/export the video so that I can share it or edit it. As for the SD card, i've tried different cards and formatted them correctly, but no matter what the drone never puts anything onto the card. Any ideas>?
Yes, it does have solid range… This is an awesome quadcopter, and at that price, I highly recommend it… It has excellent flight characteristics and great quality footage. The sale link is in the video description...

I just got the exact drone (my first drone), app works well , it's a nice drone , I been playing around with it trying to get better at flying it however I never let it out my sight but I have crashed it a few times and already damaged the small gears attached to the motors (couple of teeth broken of those tiny gears) seems like a weak point on the drone if you crash it and it flips upside-down. I have so far learn't that wind is not your friend , I took it high to get a nice shot and as I was getting it higher than I usually take it the wind blew it off my planned course and I brought it down quicky before I lost it but crash landed , I would love one of those very expensive drones but with my record so far this is already expensive , still trying to figure out how to replace those tiny damaged gears as there are not spares available near my area or how I could fix the drone with plan B , can't afford to buy a new drone every week lol
You are correct, with these brushed-motor toy grade drones, wind definitely interferes with its flight quality… I recommend practicing in little (to no) wind conditions… Perhaps you can find an inexpensive brushless-motor GPS drone that will handle wind conditions a bit better (and will allow you to return to the take-off point automatically) if it gets out of sight…
Another option is to purchase a small indoor quadcopter (like a Tello) to practice indoors… Those come with propeller guards and are small enough where even a small indoor environment would be enough to practice flying…
To fix it, I opened up the propellor and took out the long metal pole. I saw the plastic thing and turned it upside down. Then my drone flew amazing. Also much better as it won't get as damaged
