The actor of Scorpion is so so talented. I feel so bad for Scorpion at this point. He was really very loyal, Zhao Jing could have asked him for his life and he would have happily given it to be him. It's just that Zhao Jing pushed him too hard. What a sad toxic relationship.

Most mini villains are the victims of the real culprits. Even tho their crimes can’t be forgiven, they all are sad and pitiful. Same with WKX, luckily Mama Zhou and others good friends helped him also he didn’t truly lost his humanity or kindness.
He just being distrust and want revenge. Most importantly WKX willing to correct his mistakes, and willing to return to 4 Season Manor as second disciple. Happy, happy day. Now he have to suffer Mama Zhou’s dragon breath about that stupid fake death scene. 😂😂
I love the way how ah xu walking around in the ghost valley with the chief's hair pin, also everyone greeting him like they greet their chief. they are married 😍

Reminds me a lot of Xie Lian in Ghost City - whether or not Hua Cheng is with him. It's adorable, really. (And yes, they are so married.^^)
Scorpion King’s acting in here is so flawless. He depicts how mad and hurt he was yet he still loves his father at the same time. I feel sad seeing him vulnerable like this

That family dinner just broke my heart where WKX just wants to talk to ZZS and ZZS is sad and sick. Shit.
Yeah.... all those worried looks WKX keep sneaking at ZZS.... he just needs them to be alone so they can talk.
The part where Xi Sang Gui/Luo-ayi gives Gu Xiang an ornate wedding hairpin passed down to her by her master is interesting to me because Luo-ayi knows the significance of a hairpin in marriage, but everyone in Ghost Valley has seen Zhou Zishu walking around with their master's hairpin on his head which means they're probably already thinking of him as their Ghost Valley Master's Consort. In a traditional Chinese context, you simply can't cover this up with brotherhood anymore lol.
To extend on that, En ep31, WKX gave ZZS his hairpin in Chinese is 挽青丝/绾青丝 which is like coiling black hair/wedding pin. It also sounds like 情丝 which is affection love giving meaning to hairpins and marriage, so it has a high significance when concerning partners too. There’s no way to confuse it🤣🤣
And Ah Xu knows it too...the scene where he convinces WKS to let A Xiang go and meet her husband’s family...he literally says too bad I am not the chief of the valley otherwise I could change things...knowing full well that he in fact has that position as the husband of the chief😫😫😫😫

Also, did you notice the details of their clothing? A'Xu has catkin patterns on his (the meaning of Xu), along with some red trim that matches WKX's red outfit. And WKX has some blue accents on his outfit that matches A'Xu's blue outfit. So cute. I also find it interesting that this is the most vivid blue that A'Xu has worn (A'Xu always wore muted colors to represent his dying senses), which to me indicates that WKX MUST have picked this vivid blue outfit out for him, which is adorable considering the catkin pattern on it. Just love all the detail the costuming group did.

ep 33 and 34 were honestly a true testament of zhehan as an actor bc for the majority of the time, zishu was silent and didn’t have any lines
zhehan had to rely on his facial expressions alone to convey all emotions, which he nailed bc we could all empathize with zishu 🥺

Zishu looks very quiet...he might be don't understand how his feeling right now...realized that in fact his life is no longer exist and he would never be with his Lao Wen after that....it most heartbreaking...
He trying so hard to enjoy the few moments left to him/them. He is keeping the pain to himself because he doesn't want to force it on others. Must be all his years of an assassin to hide his feelings like that.

Most ghost valley people were victims that got manipulated by a villain leader, had to do horrible things against their well but they still managed to love each other like a family, they're so wholesome

WKX definitely should have took ZZS to the side and explain things to him personally before they had that dinner. He thought his soulmate was dead! He shouldn't be finding out everything at the same time the rest of them are.

Actually I think it's just something to speed up the hunt of the armory thing. Wkx obviously went ooc for that decision.
I just wave it away as in that the poor writers/cast had to squish everything into less episodes at end (due to lack of funding they had to cut back episode number) so they couldn't put things in the BEST originally planned ideal order. They had to try to do multiple things with every scene, having to cut out a lot due to time constraints, so it felt a little disconnected and oddly pieced together in places.... but lets cut them some slack :)

did you really watch it carefully? WKX looked at ZZS in a worried look about 10 times during that dinner. WKX hided it from ZZS because ZZS was seriously injured and he didn't want him to be in danger.

Yeah.... we just try to not look too hard at that plot hole and try to cover it with some sheer drapes of "WKX didn't want ZZS to be in danger" or whatever the best explanations others have tried to come up with. ;) Most dramas have some inconsistencies, so try to overlook it with the good stuff. :)

The Anterior Plot also very nice, which includes the details of young ZZS, Prince 7th(Jing beiyuan), DaWu(Wuxi）, Qingnuan(Su qingnuan) and the REAL Prince Jin(Helian yi)

This book is more complicated and political, of course very funny as well, than the 【Faraway Wanderers 】(Word of Honor) . You could see a huge difference in the original characters to drama version. Of course, everything were good in the beginning, ZZS, Beiyuan, Qingnuan(a girl have similar appearance with Beiyuan ), the prince(Helian yi is a talented guy actually, that's why ZZS was willing to serve him when he was 16. In the drama, ZZS and Prince Jin's mothers were sisters, one married ZZS's father, anonther married the former Prince Jin, Jin is the land name of the territory, however in the original novel, Helian yi is the emperor's son, he already became the emperor when ZZS leave him, BTW Helian yi is of ZZS group's same age ). They were young at that time, holding the best time in their life. However the royal, political issues changed everyone, that's how tragedy began.
A Xu’s actor here is perfection...every moment is steeped in sadness and grief and he doesn’t even have to say a word to portray that. When WKX asked him to accompany him to his parents’ tomb the look of brief horror on A Xu’s face.😭 They both deserve all the recognition.
